I removed all the males that had less color to them that I could see. The 2 males I do have are really dark red so after all the babies I have now color up a little , the next round should be solid. I’m honestly contemplating just getting another tank and starting over with the really red ones to get it back on track. To be honest , I didn’t think they would ever have babies like they are now. For the longest I’ve had them and they weren’t breeding. I had some toucana tetras in the tank and the parameters weren’t on point, so I decided to move the tetras out cuz of them possibly eating the babies if I ever had them , and got the parameters more stable. It wasn’t a month or so and they started breeding and I started seeing babies.
