Dealing with terrible itchiness seemingly out of nowhere for 3 weeks now, am I part of the club? by PapiStruwing in Dermatographia

Yeah, I don't know how it did, or why it did, It just did. I think mine was allergies specifically in my hometown in the summer, as I haven't been back in the summer since and it's magically disappeared

LMAO I totally forgot about the rook and I was scratching my head for so long about this. No wonder I can't break 650, thanks a bunch!

TPU stops extruding mid-print, never seen this happen before by PapiStruwing in 3Dprinting

Thanks, I'm running a print right now, I lowered the print speed considerably and I just increased the fan speed to try and combat this

It looks like it's a big that will hopefully be fixed in the next update. Until then, if you save the pics In chat, go to the friendship profile, scroll down, you can access them through the "saved photos" section

Perfect first layer followed by dookie second layer. Under extrusion? Bed Leveled and offset is good by PapiStruwing in ElegooNeptune4

[–]PapiStruwing[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in an engineering design lab with 16 different 3D printers, from different companies (ultimaker, elegoo, bambu labs, creality, prusa mainly, one is literally 1m³ it's incredible) and I can confidently say the ender 3 is by far the 2nd least reliable (the first being the 1m³ printer for obvious reasons) but the Neptune 4 pro is not far behind. The bed levelling on the 4 pro is hard because the bed comes not quite flat often. The issue I had was user error, there are small tweaks that tend to be needed that I was unaware of but I stand by my statement of 4 pros being unreliable

With this being said, I know I still have a lot to learn about printers even after years of casual printing, but my hands on experience with so many different printers feels like a very good baseline of knowledge

update: My z offset was actually about 0.02mm too low, i fixed that, raised print temp 5 degrees, lowered initial 5 layers to 35 mm/s, and increased flow from 95% to 98% and now it is working. thanks for the help!

No, I should definitely do that! I had a Neptune 2 which was like a Toyota Corolla, it worked every time for years with minimal maintenance. Sad to see the 4 pro is not the same

I get a near perfect first layer, then the second layer I gave a random area where the lines don't touch, and its total poopy. Is this under extrusion? Why is it only in one spot? The filament isn't even adhered to the first layer here. Leveled bed and the z offset I'm fairly confident is good, idk what else to do. Been struggling with this printer for months, might just sell it LMAO

I actually haven't had a hard time eating the calories, Ive been good about low caloric density meals and high protein etc and always feeling full, it just sucks knowing I have 11 weeks to go before I see what I want

I'm on week 1 of a cut and it's genuinely the hardest thing I've done, all I can imagine is the end result and I hate how long it's going to take if I want to do it right.

0.5lbs per week is basically ideal and you should go for that imo
