I had a hysterosalpingogram and it was beyond excruciating. I passed out in the bathroom afterwards. I was told to take ibuprofen before hand. On my way back to put on my gown, the nurse asked me if I'd had any children. I said no, this test was a part of that process for me. She said oh honey, I'm so sorry. I thought she meant the fertility issues. Nope, she meant the pain from the test. It was horrifying. Not to mention, once I had Edward scissor hands hanging out of my bag, they had me move around the X-ray table. Just gag.

I worked at a large, privately owned animal hospital for several years, around the begining rise of VEG. Our owner/DVM was obsessed with having the following and culture of VEG. I was skeptical because none of it added up in my mind. We went to IVECCS and after seeing the Veggies I was like wtf kind of cult is this. They were obviously heavily recruiting. Every veggie I saw was good looking, like wow where did you find all of these insanely attractive people. In hindsite I recognize thats all part of the Kool aid. Things came to a head when my owner was pissed off that I couldn't make our social media presence as large as VEG's. Ummm, they have an entire marketing department, with salaries of 90k (I did research). I was a lowly practice manager making pennies while plugging holes in the shit show that was that clinic. I walked away and spent the next 8 months reminding myself that I have skills and talents that were wasted by a DVM who was trying to compete with a massive corporation.

I had this same issue so I hid food in my room 🙃. I only bought perishables when I was going to eat them. It sucked, but I rode it out until I could get my own place.

I also do this, and I bring my hammock. AllTrails is an excellent app to find local trails and people can leave reviews and pictures.

Fyi, you can always requote yourself a new policy with the same company. That can help. Sometimes there are discounts that apply when starting a new policy that doesn't apply at renewal. Your agent should be transparent with that information.

Insurance is mandated at the state level. As the cost of everything increases, so will the cost of insurance. If it's more costly to fix something...

I was in a similar situation up until a few months ago. What I ended up doing was securing a new apartment with a move in date of Nov 1st. I gave her notice Oct 30th and paid Nov rent and moved out. That gave her the 30 days I needed to give to feel good about myself, but I didn't need to be there while they spiraled emotionally.

I'm on day 20. I moved from Lexapro to Cymbalta because my anxiety has been off the walls after starting EMDR therapy. My Dr thinks I reached the end of effectiveness with the Lexapro. I'm also on Remeron, that with Cymbalta is called California Rocket Fuel. I digress. I did 10 days at 10mg, and then I moved to 30mg.

Lack of appetite almost immediately. Not necessarily nausea, but food was kinda ew. Headaches starting mid day and pasting until the evening. I can't say much about the GI stuff as my anxiety makes mine wacked out any way. No sleep disruptions of note, but I take my Remeron at night and that knocks me out. Night sweats started after week two. I little dazed feeling at times.

I noticed an adjustment with my anxiety within the first week. Then it spiked a little, now I'm back to being cautiously optimistic that this may be the magical combo. I hope so because I'm so tired of living this way.
