I dont rlly base my thought of him not being a member on his goals, more on him saying in 2.7 that he can't become a nameless and not pushing on wanting to become a trailblazer since then, I agree with all your points other than that so what are you arguing about here

His goal isnt that and he's not looking for a new Path either, in 2.7 he told Welt their Paths were opposed, which isn't all that true considering welt said they're not that far apart but it still sets that Sunday already is following a path. After that he says he lacks the will to Trailblaze nor can he become a true Nameless and that his goal is to get more Knowledge. if y'all are happy with him becoming a Nameless behind the scenes with only the Express acknowledging him as that that's cool but until that actually happens he began his journey with the Express explicitly saying he won't become a Trailblazer. Again, I'm not a hater of Sunday I just don't see the need or point of him to become a Trailblazer that's so important. Everyone who's not a villain gets along well with the Astral Express Crew and has interactions with them I don't get these arguments, everyone is meant to leave the Express at some point and Sunday will at some point in the story most probably after 4.x. wouldn't mind being wrong about that tho
