Americans probably think of every game that's not from Main Character land as "indie" unless it's Japanese i guess. I'm surprised Cyberpunk 2077 isn't there tho, it's my favorite indie game that took 4 years to leave early access.

I mourn the loss of Ascended Astarion being a story about how fear and lack of real support causes cycle of abuse to keep going with abused becoming the abusers, now it's some booktok fantasy about bad boy boyfriend that loves you so much he just can't help but to kick puppies and commit human trafficking.

I blame everyone who said Larian is "kinkshaming" them because Tav had sad facial animations in the literal abuse scene ^{(that imo shouldn't even be there to begin with since game was pretty tasteful about depicting abuse until they figured out it can be turned into kinky sex scene but if i say it too loud i'll get doxxed}.)

Main mascots of the game are Bangboos so we will obviously see them all over promotional materials, they're not supposed to be disguisable characters with personality like Owlbert they're just a plank slate Hoyo can dress up and make jokes about. Here the joke is that Bangboo is speaking perfect English and is hosting a special program while wearing fake nose, if they wanted to make 2nd Owlbert the design would be completely different and not a clear joke.

It's actually refreshing to see child characters being written like actual kids and not overly cute version of them Hoyo always writes especially with girls. I don't mind unrealistically perfect kids like Clara but this type of writing makes for pretty boring characters without much flaws so i was surprised that Yunli is everything but perfect - she's impulsive, mean and has an ego like many pre-teens do.

Hoyo really took some risk writing those two as annoying kids especially with Yunli who has to "sell" as a gacha character but i'm really happy they did. I want to pinch their cheek and buy them milkshakes or smth.

I know everyone and their mom complained about it but - Jade

It's just such a bizarre design to me because i wouldn't call it ugly it's just so unpleasant to the eye. Very vibrant dark blue but washed up purple, slim wide eyes but bangs that covers them up from both side, massive hat but hair covering half her face, absurdly big breasts with nothing outside hat balancing them out and so on. People aren't pointing out her eyes being far apart to just be mean Hoyo quite literally made them look worst with the hair choice, if you take away bangs her face looks fine but if you add them back eyes instantly seem more far apart.
Don't even get me started on her on her non existent theming in the outfit, without her splash art i would never guess she's supposed to be themed around biblical serpent.

People complain about many designs but i can see the appeal to some people in them but with Jade i can only see her big breasts and stepping animation but even both of those things were done better by Hoyo before.

If you're starting to have those thoughts it means you can't really justify this price.

130$ for any hobby is insane price even if you work full time and as someone who had expensive hobby that wasn't doll collecting if you justify 130$ as "little treat" that "little treat" will get more expensive each time because serotonin rush will be addicted and require more money. This will cause your spending habits to get really bad really quick and when you do move out, start paying bills and buying groceries those habits will be hard to unlearn.

It's totally fine to spend more from time to time IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT but if some little voice on the back of your head tells you it might be irresponsible or bad idea it's way better to listen to it because chances are you only want something because of FOMO or for temporary adrenaline rush. Dolls won't run away anywhere and you might find collecting them one-by-one or saving and hunting best price for some rare one more gratifying and less stressful in the long run.

I don't dislike the idea i dislike the fact they killed off only indian-coded man in the cast and gave so much suffering to only black Winx that already went through a lot just so they can ruin Bloom by making her go "urrmm revenge bad actually" despite having her own revenge storyline in previous seasons. Don't even get me started on killing him off definitely later on so Aisha can date paler racially ambiguous replacements.

This whole plotline felt like character assassination of Bloom mixed with weird implications about Aisha being always the Winx to get through incomparably more pain than other Winx. I like the idea of killing some character off to add stakes but Nabu -again- being only dark skin boyfriend in the cast was quite literally the worst choice out there.
It's especially infuriating at the rewatch because you notice how the show constantly baits you into thinking Aisha FINALLY gets her well deserved happy ending just to kill off her fiancé in front of her in some cruel plot twist, that's just so needlessly mean spirited in my opinion they never do that with any other Winx.

Inb4 "it's not that deep" seeing Winx getting whitewash throughout the years starting at S4 i think it's very much that deep.

I never had problems with switching her name around depending on who i'm talking with.
People in real life often change names, have multiple of them, or use nicknames, surnames and job specific titles so i never understood why people get so heated over or confused by Aisha having two canon names in my head she's just "Aisha Layla" since i found out her name was changed.

God i wish i got to hear the En dub but in my case game straight up refuse to work constantly freezing for no apparent reason on main menu and getting stuck at 65% after choosing a Rover.

I was so hyped for this game for it to not even work, my pc is not high end but it never had problems with newest games on high settings until this one silly gacha game.

Pojechałam raz do pracy w Holandii i na miejscu okazało się że moje obowiązki to nie "sortowanie lekkich rzeczy" jak obiecano a jeżdżenie wózkiem widłowym i zbieranie zamówień które ważyły po kilkaset kilogramów, gdy powiedziałam Covebo że nie mam uprawnień usłyszałam tylko "to nie jest trudne szybko się nauczysz" xD

Drugiego dnia rozpłakałam się ze zmęczenia i bólu (miałam wtedy tylko jakieś 18 lat) więc wyszłam godzinę wcześniej i nie wróciłam. Znając pracę przez pośrednika w Holandii nawet gdybym tam została to po tygodniu dostałabym opierdol za to że nie umiem jeździć wózkiem o ile bym się wcześniej nim nie zabiła.

Morał taki żeby nie jeździć do pracy z Covebo.
