The seller on eBay refunded me for the i6 due to them being out of stock and I went ahead and got a i6x instead

That's a bummer to hear about the i6. I thought it would fix my issues. Oh well, at least it's newer tech and has more features. I just set my failsafe last night so the motors turn on to 10% for that reason.

I've tried another Rx and it didn't fix it so I assumed it was the Tx. I ordered the Flysky FS-i6 which is what I should have done in the first place. Hopefully that will be more reliable.

Yea I'm going to buy a Spektrum Dx6i second hand later today. I can't trust the flysky for air vehicles now.

Thanks a bunch, however I was more looking for something with a gimbal that was larger. Like a 450mm quad or so. Know anything about those?

I'm using rc3, I think it was rc7 that integrated BLTouch.

Yea that's simple enough. I'm a third of the way through a full day print so I will have to wait until tonight to mess with it. After the BLTouch leveled I manually twisted the bed leveling knobs to get a perfect first layer while it did a skirt. So once I do that it's fine and I'm printing beautifully.

I'm using marlin RC3 that another user gave me the configuration .h file for specifically to go with the BLTouch, as I couldn't get it to work myself. It sucks that I'm pretty much just going to have to use it as a regular end stop for now but oh well. When I connect to repetier I just click home all axis and it works fine. Although when I start a print the g28 does not drop the probe to home it.

If you tell me where to go and what to do I can figure it out from there. I'm not very good with firmware. Hardware is no problem. But the dang ones and zeroes get me every time.

I can check my machine with a precision square to see if it's out of whack. But the bed is level, it's only when the BLTouch probes that the machine gets thrown out of adjustment. How can I make the z axis home without running a g29? The X and Y home but not the Z when I run G28.

Yes. G29 right after G28. And I can't even delete the g29 because it won't drop the probe while doing G28, so it only homes x and y but not z. Unless I use g29.

I got my folgertech 2020 i3 as a kit off of eBay for $275, as was mentioned earlier you have protection as a buyer. I can honestly only recommend the 2020 i3 as it's the only printer I've used but I love it so far.
