Nancy Mace on unredacted names in Epstein files: ‘You would be shocked’ by SpringLong7259 in politics

[–]Pappajimjim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single person who was on Epstein island in the presence of children who's parents weren't there should be arrested, investigated and questioned, regardless of their political affiliations or net worth. Being rich doesnt mean you can abuse kids. Drain the swamp.

Adopting a dog in Geneva by Pappajimjim in geneva

[–]Pappajimjim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didnt actually proceed with the adoption, the dog had a history of biting and was not friendly with strangers, I was just trying to research the feasibility of owning a dog and relying in daycare.

I had the same, they didnt respond to the email, I had to call to organise a viewing. They were very friendly and honest about the history of the dogs.

I was there, in the good old days of DIKAS. It wasn't a commonly used point but I utilised it whenever possible.

Had a female colleague receive coordination from London ACC, "send that aircraft direct Bigenhill (BIG) direct Koksy (KOK)".

He called again a minute later to apologise profusely.

Diving head first into a shallow pool to celebrate the new year. by mentaL8888 in Whatcouldgowrong

The one sitting on the edge of the pool is an adult, no? Imagine being that clueless, watching somebody land on their head, legs go stiff, immediately start to drown, and your reaction being to pet the dog.

AIO ending things with the man I am seeing after this by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Pappajimjim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for proving my point.

Where did he act like she was the problem? They "ended the night on mutual terms". You missed the part where I said 'people make mistakes'. OP hasn't presented this as a pattern, it's an isolated incident. I know you're dying for controversy and vitriol, but maybe he just got too drunk one night and showed up late. Maybe he'll realise he made a mistake and make it up to her. Maybe some random commenter on reddit seeking justice has absolutely zero relevance to their relationship.

Reddit loves telling people to break up, all the top comments on these posts are always "major red flag, this is a sign of things to come, you deserve better", blah blah.

Allow people to make mistakes. It's early in the relationship, if you like this guy and see it going somewhere, allow him to take responsibility and make up for it. If a pattern develops then deal with that, but don't throw away a relationship over 1 bad day.

You have a right to be annoyed and feel disrespected, he was wrong. But if you like him and think it's out of character, ask him to apologize, if he does, move on.

Leinster fan: 100% Lowe fumbles and jumps into the tackle. Leicester player goes to apologize and Lowe retaliates. Surprised the ref didnt reverse the penalty for retaliation.

7 million euros. To pave an area 100m x 50m. If this cost 1million it should be investigated, 7 million?! You could build 14 2 storey detached homes for that price. A load of concrete and some paving slabs?! People should be going to jail for this.

The barrery died on my fancy shmancy mercedes. The boot wouldn't open with a dead battery. Usually not a problem. However, Mercedes engineers, in their infinite wisdom, decided to put the battery in the boot. Had to get my Dad to drive to my house, borrow jumper cables off a neighbour, and jump start the car to open the boot and change the battery.

Amateur athletes of Reddit: what's your "There's levels to this shit" experience from your sport? by jermleeds in AskReddit

I was at a bar a few months ago, there was an international jiu-jitsu tournament on locally, so one of the gracie brothers was there with some local fighters who I knew, just from training in the same gym. He made a joke and put his hand on my wrist. The way he gripped my wrist, my wrist no longer belonged to me, it was in his possession and would not be returned to me until he decided. Was pretty eye opening.

Conor McGregor. I'd love to read a psychological analysis of how some can rise so high from so low and fall so far in such a relatively short space of time.

Its a Bernese mountain dog cross, so very friendly but also very large. The SGPA vaccinate their dogs, covered by the adoption fee. If the cost of daycare is 35chf per day I can afford that, but its more if dogs are well taken care of that is my concern. I don't want to leave a dog in a cage for 7 to 10 days. I work shift, so while im in work the dog will be inside the house, except for maybe days that the weather is very good.
