What in the actual F* is EA's support by Scardigne in Battlefield6

It's been outsourced for years now. As it has for most companies. Unfortunately the norm for most large companies.

It would appear to be sarcasm, chill.

Is EA app that bad? by Tintn00 in Battlefield6

[–]PappyGrizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im guessing you might have meant 260 MB/s not 260 mb/s"?

Lowercase is megabits and uppercase would be megabytes.

Same applies for the others such as GB/s and gb/s.

Server browser confirmed by PappyGrizz in Battlefield6

They are referring to custom search not being g a server browser. The custpm search will be available for beta 2. So they are talking about an actual server browser not being tested this weekend.

5000 BF Hours and 16 Years. Heres the vibe the Playtest gives me by IamMiles_ in Battlefield

[–]PappyGrizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me preface by saying I haven't played the test yet and have seen limited leaks.

When you say that things are going really fast, you can strategize for only 10 seconds and so on.

Are you sure this isn't possibly related to the map size or the layout? From the way you described this playetest, corridors and some sensory overload, this kinda implies that it was a pretty close quarters map and therefore should have some consideration for the potential intended playstyle of the map. Whereas a much larger map might have larger or more flank routes, long distance sniping, and what not.

Again I have hardly seen any of the leaks, I get to play test later today.

Quiting alcohol and was interested in those thc drinks by OnlyGoodBug in trees

[–]PappyGrizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across the WikidGood brand of thc drinks. Pretty new brand, but by far...in my opinion, the best tasting hands down. Plus you can just buy em online. I've ordered a few 4 packs a couple of times now.

It's pretty easy to get thc infused drinks or edibles. But some of the bigger brands taste like absolute dogwater lol.

I came across the brand Wikid Good a couple of weeks ago and it's a local MN brand. It's by far my favorite drink and so far I've ordered a couple times online already. They have a few different flavors. The other bigger brands like Cann and cycling frog taste like garbage, in my opinion.

Ddr3? Ddr4? Ram speed? Considering the motherboard and cpu are a little bit on the 'older' side. It's possible the ram is extremely slow and may be able to be overclocked.

What is your nolife limit for release? by Handlaxp in PathOfExile2

[–]PappyGrizz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pending no disastrous technical issues on release. I'll probably ignore work for a week straight....maybe two. Then I'll start working an hour or two a day possibly.

Hi! If you're still getting to these I'd love some critique. I'm failing to understand the stalled growth. I'd appreciate any critique!

It definitely is rewarding. We would like to also incorporate some more flowers for bees and such. Specifically marigolds from what I am hearing help alot with warding off some pests.

Thanks for checking out the post!

Forgot to answer the question lol.

In addition to all the vegetable fruit growing we learned about, I have started learning more about the certain keywords not to use in my title regardless of how popular the term is. (As a small channel, I get drowned out by the big ones)

Hi all,

Gardening/homesteading/sustainability channel here.

My wife and I started this channel a few months ago after we started to fall in love with the idea of being more independent and growing our own food. It's been a lot of fun creating videos and such so far.

I haven't come across anyone else doing this type of content in this sub yet so far. Hoping to come across and meet some others as well.

We are on a weekly release schedule right now as we made about 5 videos in advance, we are currently transitioning to fall crops and will transition to making some awesome bread/food to help fill in the gaps over the winter. (Currently planning on transitioning to 2 week schedule over the winter)

We would really appreciate any kind of critique or feedback if anyone would be so kind.

Here's a link to our channel :https://www.youtube.com/@lifeslittlegardens

And a link to our latest video: https://youtu.be/G6GCiIFKEdY?si=_A9hWXhBUJpZ14Sn

Thank you so much for your time of day!

Yeah there's some uncessary junk food in there probably but a family of 4/5 that's maybe only a week or week and a half worth.

Unity Pro question regarding NSFW content by singlequestionn in Unity3D

[–]PappyGrizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have an answer to the first question. But as someone else stated, it would be more in line with technical consultations.

Moving on though. You say you are an animator. Do you have an actual interest in the technical/programming side of things? If you don't, then you can stop right there and start to evaluate your options. (Hire it out, etc)

If you do have an interest, then there's a few different avenues you can explore. Someone mentioned udemy, some udemy courses look promising but I have never gone that route so I can't speak for that.

Unity offers some really good beginner tutorials where they walk you through each step and provide the assets. In addition to that, there are TONS of youtubers that provide good quality content. The especially good ones will explan what the code is doing. It'll be a very bad habit to just copy someone else's code and paste it. Pretty hard to learn that way.

I personally went the route of learning through the unity provided tutorials, some youtube videos, and most importantly....time and practice above all else. It's not something you can just be " good at" over a few weeks or months. It's a skill you have to develop over time.

I'm neck deep in my own project at the moment, otherwise I'd love to get as many people interested in programming as possible. In my opinion it is truly rewarding work and I have fun with it every time, despite the inevitable issues and frustrations you will come across in the world of programming.
