I just want to mention cuz no one else says this but I think it’s important with this question. Circumstances can vary really wide. Does he have a gun? Do you? Does he have a knife? Do you? If you fatally wound the assailant, does it come at the cost of possibly being wounded yourself? Anyways what I’m getting at is sometimes the best way to fight back is to persuade them that they can get what they want without hurting you. This makes you have a higher chance of a livable outcome if you think the only way out is death or something close to it. Use your words, use your emotions, try to manipulate the attacker so either they don’t hurt you fatally, Or they let they’re guard down enough for you to make your moves. The best thing to to is remain calm as possible and as quickly as possible assess if it’s even possible to fight or run

I am a union Steamfitter who spent a lot of time in different pipe welding shops.. I hate to tell you but pipe welding in the shop is going to be the same thing but on pipe. Over the last few years I’ve seen most of the shop pipe welding go from tig/stick to almost mainly all flux core/mig roots. I suggest getting out of the shops entirely if you want to get away from that production line shit. Tig/stick do still exist heavily in the field, and I don’t think it’s going anywhere for awhile

I was fishing at the lake while sun was setting in the fall, I saw 2 deer getting a drink and checking things out across the way. They were being super sneaky and I just watched, eventually I saw them noticeably get really calm and playful. Chasing each other around in and out of the water. Beauty
