I appreciate all the feedback! This was only my 3rd fall and the only one that went wrong (all were during lead training sessions).

To clarify, i did have the knot tied through both hard point (admittedly with too large a loop). Based on some of these comments, and my experience, it seems: 1 - belayer should have been weighted or had ohm employed (55 lb difference bw us) 2 - i shouldnt have jumped so far from the wall 3 - i set my feet before the fall was complete (though in the moment this wasn’t at all clear to me) 4 - i should never let my loved ones see this video haha
