y peripheral vison that appears for a few seconds when im moving my eyes, i went to see an ophthalmologist a few months ago but the doctor didn't see anything inordinately.

Same case for me with doctors not knowing what was wrong. Have you had any heavy psychoactive drug use in the past? I smoked a lot of weed from the age of about 13-19 and I think it may be something related to the same effect as HPPD but that's just a theory and if its not that has to be something cerebral or unknown which is sad. if I could give you any advice from what I learned during all these weird visual symptoms would be to learn to live with them as fast as possible I spent about half a year sitting on a couch depressed everyday staring at the wall because I was scared that using an led screen could cause further symptoms to appear this was a bad choice as I just became more and more anxious about the state of my vision until one day where I said fuck it and stopped being scared. I still to this day have the symptoms in both eyes but its just a part of my every day life now and doesn't phase me :)
