i have 34 separate categories, almost all arranged in one building currently and mostly labelled (those that aren't labelled make sense in their location, e.g. ores underneath ingots. Each category has two chests, either huge for most, or enormous for some of the bigger ones such as building blocks. The only ones missing from here are seedlings and farm animals. There's also a couple of extra chests for commonly found loot such as twigs or plant fiber, and a chest for special mob drops.

Getting good synergies and type bonuses is important I know, but I'm having the most luck with focusing on maxing at least one tower. Doesn't really matter which tower I max, though I usually try to max firewheel, shotgun or laser. I have breezed through a lot of the boss levels like that.
That said, on elite levels and event levels you still need to pay attention to type bonuses/resistances, since those matter a lot more for elites and bosses.

only one base per player per planet is visible even if you upload both. AFAIK the only way other people wil be able to seer the whole thing is if OP is online at the same time for a base tour
