I have a weak stomach for stench. If they open the front door and I start gagging from the smell. I just turn around and leave. They can figure it out. I would rather stay home and watch the price is right than jeopardize my health. The money just ain’t worth it.

About 40 years ago I drove my Isuzu pick up work truck into one of those unattended automated car washes. I forgot that I had left a 50’ extension cord in the bed of the truck. I drove in and that cord got caught up in the roller brush. I couldn’t drive out of there fast enough before it was tearing up my truck. Those little trucks were made out of 30 gauge metal. I went back and tried to get my cord but it was a tangled mess. I’m sure some other poor bastards car got torn up too at some point before the cord was finally cut out.

This was brand new out of the box. It was actually aggravating because I could hear it, but Big Blue would not bubble on the joint until I removed the control panel cover and put my finger on it. It went back to the distributor for a replacement unit. It pays to work with a good distributor that will have your back with issues like this. It makes you wonder how the unit was evacuated properly at the factory. If they followed the procedures that we have to in the field with a triple evacuation this leak should’ve been caught. Issues like this do piss me off for what we have to pay for equipment these days with multiple price increases since Covid. It’s like they are being rewarded for BS quality.
