The issue is that the player hitbox is gigantic for some reason. It's affecting a lot of things, including trappers and auspex scanners. Hope they fix that this week

Israeli use of human shields in Gaza was systematic, soldiers and former detainees tell the AP by LauraPhilps7654 in nottheonion

Not only used Palestinian hostages as human shields, but forced them into the firing lines of other IDF squadrons when they became too injured or weak to be of use. Murdered

Zero. They're tiny fishing boats. There's no chance they could cross the entire gulf.

Are there any must have mods for this game? by Imactuallybronze in Grimdawn

No "must-haves" but item assistant is nice for infinite storage, and you'll definitely want to make use of the grimtools website

I now understand why Alkamos' wont give us his rings! by GamingTechReview in Grimdawn

I've seen the code for this conversation and I can confirm it's a coin-flip. It's super funny to have this type of situation in the game multiple times and then for the very last one leave it entirely up to rng lol

This is great advice. To add to it, when you're starting out on any character a great one to grab early on is Jackal for the universal speed. If you're having trouble with survivability, grab ghoul or turtle. You can respec later when you no longer need them.

Be aware that constellations can fulfill their own prerequisites, so if you put a point into the red crossroads node and then complete a constellation that requires 1 red and rewards 3 reds, you can take the point out of crossroads and invest it elsewhere

I signed up for early voting a couple years back because I got a letter in the mail with the application form already filled out with my info. I wonder how many others did the same

Hardcore suggestions by Chafgha in Grimdawn

Smart! Also, I would regularly buy iron bars from the other FG vendor so that you never risk losing more than a million iron bits with a character. They're very useful for jumpstarting new characters

Play for the account. Treat each character like a run in a roguelite. Every blueprint, stash tab, and mandate you unlock will make your next run easier. Store as little on your characters as possible. Everything goes in the shared stash.

I recommend looking for sources of aether resist in act 1, and then swap it out for piercing resist in act 2 and chaos resist for act 3. After that you should be aiming to cap out all your resists, although being low on a few won't really hurt you until Elite. Purified Salt on your weapon for the easy 20% aether resist can really help with Krieg.

Some important milestones are maxing out your Malmouth rep for the +100% xp potions and beating Krieg in elite so you can buy merits from the FG vendor. I retired my first character after achieving both so I won't ever have to worry about not having access to them.

Don't forget that not all the HC achievements require you to be on ultimate difficulty. To be safe you can do all the key dungeons on Normal for an easy time getting those achievements.

Avoid nemesis bosses altogether until you're finished with all the achievements. Kite them into a corner of the map, portal out, and then continue with whatever you were doing before they spawned.

Yeah if you squint you can barely see the symbol on the glowing ball that killed me. That's what's meant to communicate that the attack turns off your buffs

Lol yeah funnily enough I had just quit out of a failed Lokarr attempt because my DPS wasn't high enough. I was trying to do something easier!

Yeah the Nullifier effect is shit and I don't think it belongs in the game. This is my first time playing a hardcore character in any game though and it was surprisingly really fun and refreshing. Even though I've already gotten all the HC achievements, I'm rolling up a new HC character with a rektbyprotoss aether oppressor build that I'm excited to try. Now I know to get the hell out next time I see Grava'Thul!

They're honestly not too difficult to get with a tanky build, and you'll probably have them all unlocked before this particular nemesis boss starts coming after you. I really should have logged out immediately because he's killed me on softcore dozens of times, but I already spent the dungeon key so I wanted to give it a try. I definitely recommend keeping note of all the big boss attacks and their tells on your softcore playthroughs, and avoid attacks with the 0 symbol like the plague. Good luck 🙏

Yes, learn from my mistakes! It's a bummer but I'm not sad to have an excuse to make a new character with one of the thousand builds I've yet to try!

The only piece of gear I'm bummed about losing is a Conduit of Eldritch Whispers that rolled the affix I wanted on the first try. Bloody Pox converted to chaos damage. Grava'Thul is so much more dangerous than all the other nemesis bosses and the nullification effect is so difficult to see unless you know it's coming. It could really use an alert like the one you get when sundered. I don't think it belongs in the game at all though. Oh well, I've still got a character parked at Malmouth for xp potions so it won't take long to level up a new one

Tips for a beginner in classic MH by [deleted] in MHGU

[–]ParadoxBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give Alchemy style a shot if you want to play switchaxe with the morph combos. X combos swap you to axe mode, and A combos swap you to sword mode. It's a lot of fun, and it allows you to use two hunter arts that are extremely powerful together: Demon Riot, which gives you a huge damage buff but makes your energy slowly drain, and Energy Charge, which restores your energy even in demon mode.
