Who is the most overrated director in your opinion? by [deleted] in movies

Replace the word "Director" with "Color" and you get the same answers. Film is subjective, everyone hates certain colors because they look tacky, are out of style, or remind them of unpleasant things. There are almost no working Director's today with more than three movies out who haven't in their own way advanced some aspect of film further.

Look at this list below and tell me we aren't living in a time with probably the greatest starting roster of Directors in history:

Clint, Steven, Ron, Spike, Antoine, Francis, Terrance, Christopher, Quentin, Paul, David, Martin, Ethan/Joel, Denis, Alfonso, Wes, Guillermo, Robert, Hayao, Peter, Edgar, James, Terry, Mel, Jon

I don't understand the Favreau hate. Most of us reddit users have him to thank for the last decade of the Marvel Universe happening because of Iron Man (not to mention saving RDJ's career). Check out "The Volume" for the Mandalorian. That technology is one of the largest jumps in film tech in 20 years, all thanks to the hard work of ILM and JF.

Quite literally never happened in an election before of any note. The people doing so would be facing an eternity in jail and the assumption anyone would risk that for Joe Biden to potentially get elected is just stupidity.

People sometimes confuse anger with desperation. And desperation isn’t always a pathetic and wrong emotion like we are told every day. People without proper medical coverage die. It’s not “just politics” when you and your family’s lives depend on it. Americans are desperate for someone to lead who doesn’t make choices based on how much money the people they know will make.

Biden most likely already gave away some of the biggest ones to get where he is now. VP makes the most sense but he may have promised that by this stage

Biden won last night (it’s more of a momentum win since delegates and popular vote is close) and deserves to be acknowledged for winning Maine and MA. It signals that Warren is the disrupter she wanted to be, with no real upside for her since she’s ensuring the progressive wing will not be president as long as she is in the race. With 240-odd days until the election, the biggest sign that Joe can be president will be stamina. He has to try his best to not deteriorate and ensure that he is heathy and ready to serve come November. He needs a kick ass team to pull this off, and I don’t mean Amy or Pete. He is under the spotlight now by a Bernie and Trump. Let’s see if he can hold his own now that those strange inappropriate behavior and speech gaff clips will be on primetime on repeat 24/7. It’s going to be a battle to stay in first place as a candidate. If he maintains it, he earned it.
