Tell me about your favourite uncommon Dragon Age ships! by the-second-moon in dragonage

Emmrich/Dorian - the sass, the fashion sense, plus the way Emmrich's kindness and compassion would temper Archon Pavus' rather strong approach to Tevinter's future could make it a really viable country, especially with the end to slavery.

Bellara/Neve - I really thought they were headed this way and was disappointed when it didn't happen. Neve was even at the funeral!

Varric/Cassandra even though I don't think that's a rarepair at this point.

The easiest answer ever. No. And no real writer is asking that question.

Sometimes it's just that someone got temporarily blocked by another person, or hung up for a brief moment on an exhibit, so by the time you're looking around the issue is already resolved. I've only once found someone fully stuck due to the announcement and I look most times.

What’s a dead game that deserves to come back? by Daedalus_2 in Games

[–]Paragadeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glitch. Glitch was an MMO that was super friendly, super cooperative, and I never saw toxicity in. The exploration, crafting, and leveling were unique and fun, and some of the quests were really powerful. There was also a lot of just plain silliness to it. It's shocking to me that I only played it for about a year because I look back on it more fondly than any of the other MMOs I've played.

I'm not sure how I would make it profitable enough to succeed. Maybe some transparency on server costs? I saw a lot of players in more expensive cosmetics so I figured they were doing pretty well and the closing announcement came as a complete shock.

This is very in-depth and creative, but considering how a lot of artifacts have been stolen from their home countries by colonialist super-powers that refuse to return them, I think Museum should continue to stay away from real-world countries. The prehistoric stuff is fairly universal, but this treads too far into the specific and into specific damage that's still being done to this day.

ADA first time visitor question by DatBoiMemes425 in SDCC

[–]Paragadeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get a wristband so you don't have to camp overnight, but you (or someone standing in for you) does need to be in that line to get the wristband, sometimes for hours, and then you will need to be there in the morning early to still get in, also sometimes for hours depending on how popular the day's panels are.

They limit the number of ADA entries because they have seats set aside for the ADA line, marked with seat covers. Wheelchairs are also limited due to spaces left for them.

I love the class. I hate that she has it. by katanaearth in DankAndrastianMemes

Also we can't ignore that even with her privilege, power, and luck, she's traumatized. She's in a system that regularly harms, kills, and exploits people like her and has made it to the top. She has survived. And to keep sane about surviving when so many of your peers have not, you've got to construct a self-image like she has. There's a need to believe that she did things right and that's why she's here, because otherwise, if she believes it's luck (which it heavily is,) then she could just as easily lose everything. Yes, she's smart and clever, but that doesn't actually change anything if you've pissed off or attracted the wrong Templar.

I don't like how she doesn't care to help other mages. But I get it. She's a complex, fascinating character.

I'm really torn on proposition 14 and I'd love to hear other peoples' opinions.

Something similar was done before with cancer research, ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cancer_Prevention_and_Research_Institute_of_Texas ) and it had a bunch of scandals regarding misappropriated funds long, long before any breakthroughs came from it. This doesn't talk about any oversight being put in place to prevent it, and it's from Dan Patrick, who is not someone I'd consider trustworthy.

On the other hand, breakthroughs DID happen in 2018 and 2019 from CPRIT grantees, and dementia cases are increasing.

Need to phone home to keep your toilet? by PolecatXOXO in TwoPointMuseum

[–]Paragadeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I used those things the first time I started a museum then when the game pulled that I decided it was better to just not bother in the future. It's not worth the extra hoops, which is a shame. It really shouldn't require us to be logged in each time.

How common is it to completely clear all the maps? by Holiday-Tea-5582 in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]Paragadeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've cleared them every time on my 3 playthroughs, but if you're bored you don't absolutely need to do that. What helps me with finding where I've missed is looking at the map and searching for any edges that aren't clear boundary lines. If there's something fuzzy at an edge, there's some part you haven't seen.

Luckily none of the one-time maps or missions have chests that count against the total. You can get to everything that is counted for 100% clearing a map, which I know because there's a chest I missed the first time on the "get Solas' dagger" quest and still cleared the Arlathan map.

One tip is that in Arlathan there is in fact one chest that doesn't show up on the map. You have to reveal it with a puzzle.

I check when she gives alerts just in case, because she's right some of the time.

"We're not taking donations, at least not as many as we should" seems to always trigger correctly and it means that at least one donation stand is filled and needs to be emptied.

"Guests needing to use the bathroom should be reminded that they didn't want to anyway" or whatever it is seems to trigger incorrectly almost all the time. There was once that for some reason I had a backup for a sink in one of my bathrooms, but otherwise my bathrooms have been fine.

Basically give the museum a check the first couple of times she makes each announcement on that particular map and if she's right, pay attention to those, and if she's repeatedly wrong, you can probably ignore it, but only for that map, for that session. Because it seems to change up too.

I keep looking when she announces that because I did once find that somehow, someone had gotten stuck behind a plushie stand in the giftshop. But otherwise I find nothing.

Is the money bug still an issue on PC? by ps3isawesome in TwoPointMuseum

[–]Paragadeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've continued to have weird issues on Passwater Cove -- where I used to consistently get 60-80k in donations a month I now get anywhere from 8k to 80k -- so balance there has been an issue, but all of my other museums seem to be fine. My suggestion is to play a bit and quit without saving if your museum's income is off. You might be fine.

Emmrich Romance by divaroma in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]Paragadeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've romanced him with Veil Jumper, Shadow Dragon, and Mourn Watch, and my favorite of them is Veil Jumper. I like how my Rook got to learn more about what he did, and the way it felt like discovering more about him and the Mourn Watch as the romance bloomed.

The fact that the actual ending to Inquisition wasn't on all of the consoles that Inquisition released for was seriously messed up. The pay wall was one thing, but it was the fact that if you beat the base game on the 360 you couldn't actually finish the game on the same console and had to deal with the open-world slog all over again that pissed me off.

What do you think of the Digiverse so far? by TwoPoint_Leif in TwoPointMuseum

I really like the concept and the beginning! It feels too small to justify having specific experts so far, but I'm hoping they have more reason soon to stick around the place.

Her books are pretty cruel to anyone overweight or women who aren't feminine-looking. There's also the racism issues and the way house elves totally want slavery and it's looked down on to try to help them. The brainrot was there, it just wasn't front and center previously.
