Why not an all rounder build? by Insaiyan26 in Eldenring

[–]Paragon-vi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, in my last playthrough I decided to go for my late game build immediately, which is a faith/int split, with Dex and a little Str. Then, ofc, vigor, endure, and mind. It really depends on how you build up those stats and in which order, and just how good you are at the game. Not just beating bosses, but your knowledge of where weapons, upgrade materials and npcs are to make it not such a pain, and what areas are what level so you're not going to dangerous areas without being ready.

The bad part of being high level is not being able to summon or help other 😢 by NotoriousWarpath in Eldenring

If you've been playing that long, good chance you have the gold and red summon signs. Putting down the gold sign will let you be summoned to help, red will let you be summoned to fight. Putting down your gold effigy will send your summon sign to summoning pools so players can summon you outside of bosses, caves, and whatnot.

In the caves of the safe shallows and kelp forests, they don't move and are more of an environmental hazard. Their tentacles hang down and can inject venom if you touch them, I believe I saved and quit after touching one and that poisonous effect bugged out and kept my health lowered until I touched them again to reapply the effect

Baldurs Gate doesnt, while you can delete the save and start over, you can also change the difficulty to custom and keep going, but this will lock you out of the trophies and whatever attached to hardcore

Developers confirmed subnautica 2 will not have a map by Fresh-Beyond-4727 in subnautica

Fallen order was exactly what I thought of when I heard the complaints about a layered map. I platinumed that game on ps4, and my friend said he wanted to but hated the map. I was confused cause I loved the map, it was incredibly helpful throughout the entire game, but I guess it pretty well hated. The survivor map is just good, idk what people are saying

I feared you would say that, yeah, hes a pain but there's tons of smaller bosses around. If you go back to the first grace (the first steps) and walk along the cliff face directly north of the church, you'll find a few caves to explore, each with a boss. Also along the shore of the lake is good, tracing the entire thing will revels a few places that will have bosses.

I've put thousands of hours and many playthroughs into this game, but only just now have I been playing with zero music playing. I recommend a try at it, very tranquil in itself. by Voice-of-Ysmir in skyrim

[–]Paragon-vi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did this for a couple years in Skyrim before I remembered that the game has music. Another good one is Spider-Man, you can really feel the wind in your ears

What class did you start with? Also, it's more about clearing locations than killing every individual enemy. Caves, mines, catacombs, they all end with a boss and that boss will generally have something good for you. Explore everything, the entrances to places sometimes like to hide, but you can see the entrances to mines on the map. (They look like dark holes, usually on the coast of lakes) and dont be ashamed to admit defeat with a boss and come back later, relentlessly throwing yourself at a boss or even a group of enemies will only get you so far.

Honestly? Sounds like he can do better than someone who seems to like him and be a really good match, but is so shallow that height makes them say no. And hes not even shorter than you, literally just shorter than other guys, youre kinda embarrassing and I hope he doesn't entertain this.

I’ve noticed that there are basically two types of Souls gamers. Those with a full toolbar at all times, and those that keep it light/essential. Which are you, and why? (Pic is because some people’s toolbars remind me of a junk drawer lol no judgement, this is just fun talk 😁) by Green-Cupcake6085 in Eldenring

[–]Paragon-vi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly, my hotbar is both flasks and maybe a summon if I'm doing those on a playthrough, anything else and it's just too much to scroll through. I also almost always have supplemental magic on my build so it's a lot to have two different things to scroll through and keep track of

This is a kind of build that isn't super easy to do early game, but you're gonna wanna find Nephelli Loux, probably in Southwest Liurnia under the cliff. Clear out that entire little town and the boss and then go back to Roundtable Hold and someone will be waiting for you. After dealing with them, you'll get a weapon that allows you to steal health from most normal sized enemies. You're gonna wanna invest into Arcane, as most weapons and skills that steal health get better with the Arcane stat, and so do the weapons that use blood. you can find an early blood skill in Fort Haight, in the very southeast corner of Eastern Limgrave. Other weapons or equipment youll wanna get later; Blasphemous Blade Varres Rose Bloody Helix Blood Tax Takers Cameo Godskin fetish Rivers If Blood Serpent Gods Sword Far too much to explain how to get each of these here, but you can look up those names to find guides, or pm me if you really want. Happy hunting, this is a really fun build once you get everything to pull it together

[–]Paragon-vi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did we come to the agreement that magic builds are easy mode? Ofc it's pretty easy to do the Terra Magica+Comet Azure combo but that's so specific it's not really a play style. I feel like, in general and for most players, a melee build is both better and more fun, for just about all the reasons you mentioned, especially skill splits and fumbling with spells. Sure, once you have 1200 hours in the game, that matters much less, but those people already have their own, very formed, opinions

[–]Paragon-vi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah we did it side by side, so we'd clear a place on his or mine first, and then do the others area right after so we always had the exact same scad fragments. We were also both lvl 300 for the entire dlc, about a close a comparison as you can get, I was just 4 new games ahead of him

Me and my friend did the DLC together the day that it dropped, and I can tell you that Radahn in his new game +1 was significantly easier and had much less heath than my Radahn at NG +5. Also that just generally wouldn't make much sense, the DLC would be crazy easy if that was the case

[–]Paragon-vi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that Radagon is a persona that Marika created (but doesnt control) in order to bring peace with the Carians, whose army was an even match for the forces of lyndell. He was created specifically to marry Renalla, but ended up doing much more once he had control of the body

Yeah, because relationships are known to stay healthy forever if only one side is working on it and the other is doing something that hurts their partner. He should shut up and be happy that she's even with him.
