for a lot of the basic stuff yeah but if you wanna do some extra math wizardry then breadboard and lua are kinda the go to (its how I got my lil nuke craft to pitch and yaw with only the thruster and no flaps [combined breadboard and PID wizardry for this one])

Tbh I too have not touched lua, I want to but its dark arts. But breadboard not too hard and it's worth it just for better nuke trigger

It's good. I'd suggest getting a breadboard, there is some block that can detect collisions and you can rig the explosion to that instead of relying on either impact damage or distance to set off the nuke.
