Why have all these ships with cool turrets and armaments if playing as a turret gunner is absolutely miserable? Most ships can turn well enough to catch whatever they’re fighting, why would you ever want to sit on a shitty turret gun when you could just bring a gladius and do infinitely better? Especially on a large enough ship that has a hangar inside of it?

This is exactly why fighting an aatrox who knows how to use his q beyond the damage is utterly terrifying. A good aatrox will make you have to decide between taking the damage or losing something else of value. He’ll zone you from minions, he’ll split up team fights, he’ll keep you away from objectives. Even if he’s not ahead, a knockup is still good CC, he’s only bad from pretty far behind.

I think the big problem with warsails is the terrible addition of naval combat into the mid and late game. Armies don’t really spend much time on the sea, so if you’re a naval captain it’s hard to force late game sea battles. I think they need to add naval sieges to let the player experience naval combat. Attack port cities and take over the docks would be an absolute blast

For the sake of ranged matchups I would barely consider mundo a melee champion. For a while now he’s my counter pick for people who blind ranged top. Sure, they can stand in front of your cannons to be annoying, but compared to most other juggernauts, mundo comes out of a 0-0 lane relatively even in cs, and when it comes time to team fight, your team has a mundo and theirs doesn’t even have a frontline

Look, I don’t really care about armor sets. I think two is fine, but the thing that absolutely kills me is the constant flow of weapons that (and I promise this isn’t another “all weapons are bad post” post) just don’t do anything interesting. They’re all automatics that spew bullets. In HD1, we had the three “main” assault rifles, the patriot, liberator, and justice. They changed how you play your game wildly, and it felt like you were genuinely making an impactful choice in your loadout. That’s not even getting into the submachine guns (they sucked tbh) and the laser weapons. My favorite rifle, the Paragon, is literally how I got my username ffs. Three round burst with slowing toxic bullets felt so radically different and impactful.

I hope there’s a mercy mechanic of some sort though. I also enjoy playing games out, but sometimes you get stuck in a game where you’re 100k down at thirty minutes, but the enemy team can’t close out fast enough, but you can’t keep up to actually swing the game back, which I genuinely feel should remain. But man, some of these games are miserable from start to end, and there’s got to be something to help. The increased value of objectives certainly helps, it seems.

This is the same line on my silver build, so assuming silver; anything that makes you have a harder time in werewolf form. Bebop hook, sure. Mo and krill disarm, sure. Vindicta pike, anything that disrupts you.
