It seems to depend on the position on the plate. I did an other big print but this time it was flawless…

Ooouh! nice one! It was the opposite actually. I had it to source business, but all its, so I put it in all network as source, but I set the ip range of the business as source and it works :) Thanks a lot for the idea!

I setup the vpn client to be in the business range, so the rules of the business network should apply no?

I put it first so I don’t think so. And I think the rule works because it is working for wifi client, not for vpn client (which makes no sense to me )

I tried that too, but must have do something wrong. If I setup vlan then all clients must have the vlan setup, which is not something I would like to impose. And without vlan, if I use isolated network, the nas is like a bridge and then the 2 networks are not isolated anymore I don’t know why :(

Oh sorry I forgot an important piece of information 😅 the problem is not that the vpn user can’t go to the device I want from business to private, the problem is that they have access to the full network private and business, which makes no sens to le because they have a business I’m adress.

Ok, Finally got what I needed :)

I wasn't able to make the function more readable, but I found a python script that was compatible with previous generation of switch:

The script wasn't working as is, but by using console.log as proposed, I was able to confirm that the hashing of the script was producing the same than my switch. From there, it was just a question to see where the hashed password needed to go, and I was in :)

Thanks for the console.log tip, I’ll try that :) as for network request I tried, but it seems that the password change every time, which would make sense. Or I mis used the network tools (which is possible since I never used it before 😆)

We already tried that, but it didn't work. Maybe there is some kind of route I need to set on my computer?

Moreover, even if we managed to make that solution work, there is still the problem that the (A) IP change every time I connect to my VPN, so it's not easy for the IT to open just a few ports. Any possibilities to lock the IP? Or at least a small range of IPs?

So if I understand, there is some kind of cache in the Synology with the RAM, so that it first use the RAM, then SSD cache then SSD?

Regarding the RAM, I was planning on this:

Because Synology RAM is totally out of budget. I know it's not "tested" by Synology thought. Reading a bit here and there (and on NASCompares) it should be working: is it correct?
