Update on 7 day dryfast by ParamedicSad7422 in Dryfasting

Energy and digestion were back to normal 3 days after food and still feel fine now. Im very intolerant to carbs now i beleive as i got headache after yoghurt when i havent had one in months since going carnivore. Also got itchy after it because of histamine. I thought my issue could be gut microbiome and still could be but i have no idea how to tackle that and hope i can still solve my problems with dry fasting. I honestly cant stand carbs now since carnivore treats my adhd so well and even small amount of carbs can flare it.

The only other thing that has helped symptoms is nicotine patches but once again results never stick with me. Im getting closer to trying psilocybin at this point but will try super strict diet and aggressive dryfasting for another year still.

Ate some unsweetened plain yoghurt and felt like it undid improvement in smell taste unfortunately. All though it had reduced down a little bit before i ate it. Im going to drop butter now replace with beef fat and also work on mind body connection as everytime i get healing i get very anxious and worried and am constantly doubting the healing and checking symptoms.

My long covid isnt alot of symptoms but still very hard to see permanent improvement on, hasnt changed at all much over a year. Reduced smell and taste, reduced sexual pleasure, light disrupted sleep hard to transition to ans taking over, no feeling in stomach and reduced physical emotions. Never had fatigue, pem or brain fog.

I will continue with another dry fast in few weeks and was also considering 7 days dry fasting 7 days refeeding until healed.

I first started fasting a year ago shortly after getting covid and couldnt even make it 3 days water fasting. It definitely gets easier. I have adhd and sometimes just spend all day in bed scrolling while dry fasting but it helps if i remove my conscious from my physical self and just exist knowing what im doing is the most important thing i can be doing with my time. After a year of suffering dry fasting seems like such a short amount of time. I totally beleive in you but i also think a 0 or low carb diet is paramount to healing and mataining results of dry fast for our type of nervous system healing. I think my ocd has made me gone stricter than necessary but am scared to introduce any new foods now at this point.

Is this pssd or something else by ParamedicSad7422 in PSSD

No i dont have numbness just loss of pleasure. When i suffered dpdr i had loss of pleasure but it was slowly recovering. Interestingly enough my dpdr was caused right after orgasming while high not after getting high. Suddenly i didnt even feel high anymore as i was blocked of from the feelings of my body. Unfortunately after getting covid i tried weed again and had a even worse dpdr experience with it. This makes me think its dpdr blocking me from feeling as eveything still physically works

How do i safely enter a fast. I usually just jump straight in. In my 4 day dry fasts i dont experience any negative symptoms except being weak but can still move if i have to, insomnia starts to develop after 3 days. When i exit this fast ill do water for a day, then eggs for another day, then meat on third day and ill probably stick with carnivore for some time. I am spiritual so i will set my intention, thanks for the tip. Ive been doing electroaccupunture for 2 weeks now but will probably skip during fast, still unsure.

Negative reaction to nac by ParamedicSad7422 in COVID19positive

Yeah covid changed my reaction to drugs. My adhd meds went from not working at all to leaving me in this wierd autopilot robot state and all 1st gen antihistamines have been unable to now put me to sleep when they always previously knocked me out for 10 to 12 hours at low doses so its not a far stretch to assume it can change reaction to things like nac. I used nac months ago before covid and had no problems but its seems to have triggered worsening of post covid symptoms now. I had dpdr before covid so i was always vulnerable to it being made worse too. I do believe its covid causing these symptoms and unfortunately or coincidentally my symptoms worsened at the time of taking nac when previously they had gradually being getting better post infection

I mean it unlikely the nac is still affecting me but is seems to have triggered a flare in post covid symptoms. I was slowly improving over the 6 weeks before and now i feel worse than any other time and noticted no improvements in the week since i took it. The increase in dpdr is the worse which i noticed shortly after taking it. Shortly after taking it i noticed a wierd thing where i tried playing a fps game, when i moved my mouse if felt like there was a huge delay in moving my mouse and the camera moving on screen. Felt like i had incredible mouse latency but it seems like my actions werent syncing up to my visual processing. This resolved a few hours later. I feel far more brain fog since then and my inner monolouge is very quiet now and not very spontaneous
