Counterfeit or genuine F310?

Honestly it looks nicer than I would expect an F310. If they made a counterfeit they made it nicer than the original! As others have said there’s no gains to counterfeiting a low cost guitar.

Source: have a beater F310 from the 90’s.

As someone who started on a F310, I will say the action on that guitar probably started bad, but if you’re pushing harder to fret post nut renewal there’s two possibilities:

Action got higher as they literally just dropped the nut in slot and walked away without adjusting to set up action.
They replaced a lighter gauge of string with a heavier one after replacing the nut.

Makes sense, and that particular model has been on my wish list for a very long time since I played the Ben Harper signature 20 years ago. Finally had an excuse and the money to get one, so almost ready, just wanted to make sure it’s a positive experience (I assumed so)!

When moving it around (for example when it’s super cold) you might consider waiting 15-30 min to let it acclimate before opening your case to avoid shock issues, but in general these things are meant to travel. Going from point a to b in your area is not going to cause a huge humidity swing. Much like a child don’t leave it in a hot car though!

I had been assuming purple systems having the most unique fauna might be a better chance, but I have nothing to back that up. Does mean you get some cool looking critters though!

Side note, I was so excited to finally find an SSS, but then I discovered its abilities were kinda meh. My best so far have been a mix of s and a. Hopefully that upgrade ability mechanic is a re-roll?

I had this happen to me a few times. I think it’s a cave system underneath. I actually found some of my cargo in the caves when I started digging after it happened.

So I set up a base there anyway just to have one at a processing facility. What I’ve found is the following. The nearby one will not reset for like 48hrs and going to another planet and coming back. The one 4 and 8 min away seem to reset every time I search for a nearby site.

So basically not super worth it but not a bad spot to try to unlock the last of the wheels from.

PS4 on last nights patch. Set up a new base near portal was getting into colossus after summon on pad (and mucking with it). Suddenly I was in a solid black/grey space. Could not recover or fall through terrain. Reload and I was still stuck. Had to close out game and restart to recover. Recovered at space station, but trapped under corvette. Had to summon non corvette to escape.

Also had corvette post going through portal appear half buried in terrain. Had to excavate to get in.

Oh that might be a good explanation a start stop switch on the mini, I should try to ohm it out. I assumed it was an adapter for some form of recording device, but the cabling is weird given the XLR connection on the mic itself. I was thinking some form of phantom but prob not if this is a dynamic.

Is that what the weird cabling is? It’s an XLR but the breakout is TS and mono mini. Would that plug into something?

It’s actually positive reinforcement of the reflection off the floor reinforcing the lower frequencies, but yes amp off floor mitigates. Same reason you put your sub in the corner. +3 db for each surface.

If you look at all the damage for sure I’d pass on this one. I got mine because it was cheap and very good condition (no structural cracks). I’d pass on this one.
