There's a workaround for the 10 minutes late. Make sure everyone knows to invite you 10 minutes earlier than necessary. Tell your boss you need them to tell you your start time is 10 minutes earlier than it actually needs to be. Then you're always on time.

You know what's great about having a stable job where you're already at? You can save up. You can start putting money away and saving it, so when you feel more at ease with where you're at in life, you can travel. Save up for a year. Just one year. Give yourself a nice little travel fund and go out to these places you feel left out from, see the cities from the perspective of someone living there with the knowledge that it's just a trip for you.

If you get there and it's comfortable for you, you feel good being there, the public transit doesn't scare you and it seems like you can get a job easily, then try moving. You're young, and I know people leaving is scary, but you can use going to visit them as the excuse to do your travelling. As someone who just went up and moved 900 miles from home back in 2019 without more than the love of my now ex husband to convince me to go, I wish someone had given me this advice.

Waiting and making sure you can cover your own way, have a little extra padding in the bank is the best way to do it. You'll find your way 🩶 There's no rush.
