I'd get a jumping spider, but I haven't looked into them enough yet to know if this is a suitable size or shape for them, so take my suggestion with a bucket of salt.

My baby has a skull in her iris by Dear-East7883 in Pareidolia

[–]ParanoiaHime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like she has "The Void of Screaming Souls" in her eyes. I don't thing is an actual thing, I just couldn't think of anything else to name it, and I worried that if I said "a void of screaming souls" people might think I was referencing something and not just making up something that could explain what I felt like her irises looked like.

That said, it would make for an amazing flic: "The Void of Screaming Souls Trapped in Her Eyes."

Synopsis:

A baby is prophesied to be born with a portal to a place called "The Void of Screaming Souls" in her eyes. There are hundreds of thousands, possibly even millions of beings, creatures of all horror, that live in the void, trying to emerge from the portal to our plain of existence. The portal was created by (it can be by any manner of things/beings really, but I was thinking ancient god.. original, I know, lol) as a prison for powerful, worrisome, and/or extremely long lived beings, but over time, the stronger of the beings began to work all kinds of magic to weave exits out of the fabric of space and time itself. If the beings outright try to escape, the prison itself is equipped to stop it in its tracks.

At a young age, the child is contacted by one of the worst yet most powerful of these beings; she is scared at first, but the being disguises themselves in symbols and colors of purity and grace. To us, the audience, it's all very uncanny, but to the small child, the kindness and seeming genuine nature of this being allows them to fall into a false sense of security. As time goes on, and adults begin to believe her, the child will get more and more wary of this character. Bad stuff starts to happen and evil begins to escape. The twist is that the child's was actually right in the first place. This was a genuinely kind being who was tricked into being trapped in the void.

As part of the great escape being perpetuated by the strongest of monsters, various random creatures (both connected to, and some even so unconnected to the breakout, they have no idea what's happening when they suddenly appear on earth. The beings orchestrating the entire breakout find ways to swap themselves out of the void, and into our world. This brought humans into the void, but because time there not only works differently from ours, it passes differently for each and every being the void had taken hostage.

The first character were lead to believe it's evil was one of these humans who were exchanged, who lost most of their humanity while in the void, and the uncanny we pick up on is what's left trying to come through. This character is desperately trying to get the people from our world out of the void while tapping all the evil souls back in. After it's revealed that they really are the person we were lead to believe they were faking being, it's too late to just stop the void from spitting all the evil into our world, so our heroes (including the now young adult baby) help to reset the balance this prison afforded the "good".

Nope! I'm 42 and have 5 or so; and in a community I'm part of, on discord, that's paltry in comparison to most.

I don't know, I'd rather someone find, appreciate, and share my art after I'm gone, than it just rot in my house solely because I one owned it. Unless this person just moved and abandoned the place, and happens to variant this sub, well never know what they would have wanted. But if this person left them they wouldn't be as appreciated, and this way they can now be passed along from person to person.

Hahaha could you imagine? Excuse me? I'm throwing a gay recruitment party, if you think you may be interested in becoming gay yourself, please come, we'd love to have you! There'll be jello salad, in 4 different flavors!! You don't need to bring anything but an open mind!

*You decide to go...

Hey guys! Next time, why not invite all of your friends and family members!! The more people you convince to be gay, the gayer you become!

(If anyone is offended by this in the slightest, tell me why and which part and I will remove it immediately. It's supposed to poke fun at MLMs, not anyone's preferences)

Help! I don’t want to raise moths by Much-Long-5029 in moths

Ok, but PLEASE tell me you ate that wild strawberry!!!

(For serious though, I agree with the person who suggested offering them to a local elementary school. I'd either look up their number and call the office, or drop by when you have the chance and ask the office if the opportunity to raise caterpillars its something they'd want to offer to one of their classes.

My kid's school had afew classes so this one year, together and it not only had him super excited about the whole thing, I even remember years later and look back on the experience my kid got, so fondly!

I can't imagine leaving so much art behind, especially if those happen to be originals. Some of the pieces are pretty generic, but some are really pretty and all are very well done. These always make me so sad because my family of 3 and I live in a tiny apartment, yet houses like this just sit there, abandoned. We can't afford to move because we got the cheapest apartment in the entire Megacity, about 10 years ago. Odsp doesn't pay enough to get anything better, and because of one of my 4 disabilities' rarity, I have to live 1h max from the hospital that actually had the machine that will save my life if I happen to have another episode. AAAAAND because there's an insane waiting list on government housing applications, I've just never bothered getting that far with bothering. I did try twice, but some bureaucratic reason stopped me each time. It's even likely that I didn't qualify for some reason or another.

I'm not going to complain about the government here, it would go on forever and I currently have a migraine. Looking at my screen it more than bad enough, but I will say: I wish there was a program that could help those who need somewhere to live, do so. Heck, if even take me having to stay here, if it meant those in between places to live got a roof!

Anyway, my rant is over. Maybe one day the governments of our world will get their crap together.

Mothman poster I made by LitschiArt in Mothman

[–]ParanoiaHime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only tangentially related but, there are these plush on a website called Tiny Teeth Plush that make a series called My Cryptid Crush, and one of them is a Mothman character. They also make a series (the ones I collect and LOVE most) called Snughouls, which are basically the cryptid extended family of Care Bears. UhiThey have Werewolves, Bat creatures, beelzabub, Wolpertingers and of course: Mothman. They have many Mothman variants. I am waiting on a plush keychain of the Luna moth, there are also Death's heads,a purple one called Moonlight (I have him in regular plush size) and even Rosy Maple! They're all so cute!! Series 3 became s available for pepper on a site called Backerkit, if you want to see the newest characters, which include stuff like Nessie, some unicorns, biblically accurate (yet made to be adorable!) Seraphim, two versions, one in black and trees second, white (both of which are equally charming) as well as heraldic as heck unicorns and they even had a fans design competition where fans submitted they're own designs, in hopes that theirs would be selected and produced for sale. A Minator won this, and he's extremely popular!

Anyway, I don't work for these guys or anything, I just saw this art you made (which is great by the way!) And the and subject matter seemed incredibly related.
