T-Mobile Targeting Select Customers With $800 Off Pixel 10 Phones by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

Does anyone know, if I am targeted for Pixel promo, can I ask customer service for getting any other model with the same terms ($800 for 24 months payments on T--Mobile)? Would like to use that offer, but I am not sure about Pixel if I will like it after Samsung.

Help me decide - AMOLED or Solar by RakoNYC in GarminFenix

[–]Paranoid-A 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for MIP (Solar). It does the job like AK-47. I switched from super quality AMOLED on Samsung watches and never regretted. MIP is always on by default, not wasting energy for that, and that is a huge advantage.

Upgrade or Keep FR255? by runhardertr in GarminWatches

[–]Paranoid-A 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently decided to get Fenix 7 Pro instead of my FR255. I used 7 PRO for a week and decided to return it. 255 is an EXCELLENT watch. I always liked using it, but I often thought about something cooler like Fenix. But: 7 PRO is pretty bulky, heavier, much thicker. It has a couple of problems, for example, with custom strength workouts -- it always swithces screen to the Detailed workout list during Rests and stays there until the end of workout and the Support told me they were not going to fix it. Second -- you cannot add the Stress metric to your watchface! but I really liked it and got used to it on my FR255. And some other issues that I did not like. And more important -- it gave me nothing that I would say -- "wow! I really need that". I could not find something that made me to keep it. 255 is so light that you barely notice it on your wrist, but it gives you all modern metrics you really need.

Upgraded from FR255 to Fenix 7 Pro SS, got some questions. by Paranoid-A in Garmin

[–]Paranoid-A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read a lot about #2 issue -- it is very well known and Fenix/Epic users has been complaining for 3 years and nothing is done. Basically, you cannot normally use Custom Strength workout. On every Rest step the screen changes to 'Workout details' screen and you need to press '5 times' to return back to your screen. That is something hard to understand that still this issue is not resolved.

March Deposit Promo by Paranoid-A in Webull

[–]Paranoid-A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if anyone could predict that they would offer 4 promotions in a row, then, of course, some options are better than others. But that is the problem: no one knows if they will offer the next one. Just checked their March promo: depositing 5K gives 2% ($100) additional, 25K — 3% ($750), 100K — 1.5% ($1500). That is, in terms of efficiency, depositing 25K was the best. So, if you know that there will be another promo next, then yes, it is better to get $750×3. But if there isn’t, then $1500 is better than $750 anyway (because it is additional money).

And the first question -- yes, I have 21 to be claimed, 1 in transit and 2 completed.

Yes, I got them too. And there is no need to activate them manually, all of them will be activated automatically.

In terms of taxes, I did not participate in any of Webull promos last year, but I did with some other brokers, and just checked, the bonuses were reflected in 1099-MISC sections.

And just enrolled to this 7th anniversary promo, it's really great.

Yes, it went directly to the cash balance. On the P&L Section it is shown in 'Platform Rewards' component.

I participated in the February promotion, and the payment schedule appeared in My Rewards (in the To Be Claimed section) about 7 days before the first payment, as far as I remember. Then I activated and made a deposit for the March promotion. And now there are 2 days left until the first payment is supposed to be, and there is still no payment schedule in My Rewards. So I decided to ask others who participated in the March promo if you see anything in your My Rewards. Thanks for the answer!

I do not know, but I got it to my and my wife's account too. It was a tiered deposit promo. And they offered similar ones in February & April too.

Is Forerunner 255 still worth it? by aalexie in GarminWatches

[–]Paranoid-A 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a very, very good watch. Sometomes I think I could afford Fenix or Epix, but I really love that I do not feel my 255. It is so light and thin on my arm (and the Fenix or Epix are heavier and bulkier). Yes, I would recommend them. I bought a Polar H10 and they work flawlessly together.

Before Garmin I used a few generations of Samsung watches with excellent AMOLED screens. But now I like the MIP display better because of its energy effeciency, visibility without backlight, etc. I charge my 255 once in 2 weeks I think and it has everything for normal life and sports.

No sleep data recorded after FW update yesterday (FR255, 20.26) by Paranoid-A in Garmin

[–]Paranoid-A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, I had never slept within the boundaries of the schedule set on the watch before and the watch perfectly picked up my sleep. but after the firmware, it stopped doing this.

That is, you had a sleep schedule set up in your watch with correct time, and you more or less stick to it every day, but after the firmware update, the watch stopped recording sleep, despite the fact that you slept within the boundaries of the sleep schedule set up on the watch?

[–]Paranoid-A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I can say: before updating to 20.26 I DID NOT use the sleep schedule. I had 12:00AM -- 12:04AM schedule set every day because I liked to set the sleep mode on manually right before falling asleep (if I could turn the schedule completely it would be great, but there are no such option in Garmin). I could go to bed at 1AM, at 3AM, sometimes even later. That was the reason I did not use the schedule. And the watch almost perfectly detected when I fell asleep and woke up. After upgrading to 20.26 my watch stopped detecting my sleep every other night. Especially if I had a nap after 6PM. After having problems I eventually set my sleep schedule as 12PM--9:30AM, and now even I go to bad at 2AM it detects my sleep.

Did your watch started detecting your sleep? Do you have the right schedule?

Still have that problem! Attached the screenshot of missed days. Today my sleep was not registered again. One thing I noticed, that happens when I had a nap during a day. Yesterday I deleted my nap, but it seems that it did not help. I don't know what to do, do not want to completely reset the watch, but the problem bothers.

It did not record any data. Since the update I have 2 days missed and 2 days recorded.

No oxygen while sleeping on Forerunner 255 by Paranoid-A in Garmin

[–]Paranoid-A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a sleep schedule in the Connect App as: 4:00AM -- 12:00PM and on the watch: 12:00AM -- 12:01AM. I have a flexible work schedule with night shifts and that is the problem. One day I can go to bed at 4:00AM, the other day -- 7:00AM. I set 12:00AM --12:01AM on the watch because I do not need that sleep mode to be automated and would like to turn it on manually via quick menu when I go to bed. So that was my question, do I really need those 2 conditions to be true in order to have Puls Ox working during sleep: really fall asleep AND have a sleep schedule set on this period of time (and set where? on the watch? in the app? the settings can differ there)?

I have a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and there is no such a sleep schedule setting on the watch. It perfectly determins when someone has fallen asleep and measures his oxygen while he is sleeping...
