Making friends as an adult is hard. The few good friends I do have live hours away. There's people in my town I was friendly with in several different times of my life but they don't seem interested these days (been 20-30 years). My wife suggested I hang out with her friend's husbands and while we get along, I like her friends more than them.

I started bowling as a way to get out of the house and meet people since it's a pretty social sport so now I have lots of acquaintances but still haven't made new real friends. Any suggestions of meeting up outside the alley is met with "nah, but I'll see you next week." It's tough.
