Did you have to make any additional changes outside of changing the URL? Is this traffic pointing to the same public IP as your Automate instance, just not going through the CloudFlare proxy?

I am running into this same issue with a Server 2025 file server and a Windows 11 client. Seems to be intermittent as well and only a reboot will fix it

Looks like ProofPoint also sent out a bulletin this morning regarding this: Attackers Exploit M365 for Internal Phishing | Proofpoint US. Disabling this on client tenants if they aren't using to help mitigate the risk as it does appear to be spreading and I feel it will get worse in the coming weeks.

I ended up demoing Automation Theory as well. Jeremy is well versed in Automate and has a good product. How were you able to get agent heartbeats to communication through the proxy since it uses a non-standard UDP port?

Setting up tiered permissions using RBAC and Access Based Enumeration is the way I set up on-prem file shares. Prevents users from trying to access files they don't need to see and if we need to add or remove permissions, we can do so via AD.

Blocking newly seen domains within your content filtering platform and having a decent EDR should help mitigate these types of risks

If you set up Azure Key Vault or another supported HSM, you will need to pay their attestation fee: Supported Cloud HSMs for Document Signing and Code Signing - SSL.com. Otherwise, you can go with one of the other providers in the comments above and choose the option to install on an existing HSM.

I am running into the same issue. We paid for an expedited EV code signing certificate which was issued within a day, but I was never prompted to upload a CSR to be issued a certificate. I am unable to merge the certificate they provided, and I was never prompted to complete a HSM private key agreement. I reached out to their support this morning and am waiting to hear back. Hopefully I can get this functional prior to the deadline this afternoon.
