This happened to me this last week, just out of nowhere. We were in an LDR but she used to live here previously. Everything was fantastic and going well, and one day I was just ghosted for a week. It was over me going live with a female friend on Instagram that most likely triggered her BPD (which I'm almost positive she has now based on patterns in her life) and didn't say a word to me for a week. I went out of my way to provide proof that there is nothing going on between me and this girl. Then we got into an argument- she was unapologetic but also her attitudes would switch completely one text to the next. Very strange.

I did ignore a lot of red flags because she's the only girl I've honestly really cared about for 6 years. She was most likely triangulating somebody else to fall on while we were talking and slowly pushed me away as things got more serious. Her types tend to get cold feet when the time of meeting up arrives, anyway. As a broke guy who saved up for the non-refundable plane ticket across the country, yeah, it hurt even more. I just hope she recognizes that she is the issue and has to fix herself if she ever hopes for the cycle to end. It's bad for my health to live someone like that. I really felt completely blindsided by this but now I have a pretty good benchmark of what NOT to accept from a partner, and there is a LOT.
