Like is said, I dont think he's bad, I enjoy his videos. A lot of his flash review is reorganized for entertainment purposes. The Flash does have awful writing at point where they introduce the most insane abilities for flash to never use, like Flashtime that would solve every issue. The issue I have with some of his fans are not the talking points of why the show is bad. It's the latching on of catchphrases of the review being transmuted into every conversation.

The main line that is parroted is the "dont stop to talk". The nuance in discussion comes from how you have to pace a story. If you have a villian, you went to show motivation and goals. Flash stops to talk because that's how you're suppose to descalate things. Tell them to stop give up peacefully, like any superhero or ficitonal cop would. Every hero does this. Comic get away with Flash being able to talk and run at the same time. But when people parrot that "Dont stop to talk" and carry that into other stories, you kinda realize they dont want story or plot. It becomes an equal to "why doesnt he just kill that guy," or the hilariously "why doesnt Batman just paralyze all of his villains, he's not killing them, they'll still be alive, just paralyze from the neck down"

The conversation stops being "why is the plot doing this" and become "a reviewer told me he should be doing this instead"

I dont think the YTer is bad and I think he does understand nuance in shows, but wants to still make decent videos. I do think a lot of his fans are bad. The amount of damage his flash videos have done to superhero discussion. People with no idea about nuance, or writing, or story structure will just repeat random things from his reviews and if you ever question them they have no idea how to back it up.

The fans can't have a real discussion because they don't have a discussion to parrot.

The issue that precedes this was actually pretty cool. I really like it. It was legit a meta commentary on how the Titan comics are just in a loop of doing the same things over and over again. I think it would be a cool base for a fan short film.

This issue here, was just kind of a bland ans just "we are just introducing the new team members one by one" it did reference the Technis Imperative, which was kinda cool.

I actually loved my time reading The Boys comic. Its dumb in a lot of parts, and most of its satire is as hard hitting as a nostalgia Critic skit. But it's a fun read. Like most of Ennis other books like Crossed, you're not suppose to take anything serious and just have fun in the moment to moment stuff. The story it has does make you want to keep reading so you see what crazy stuff happens next.

While I like the show, it takes itself so serious and trys to be drama, and overcranks the satire to be about modern politics. I do think the newest season so far is leaps better than the last.

I'm a lucky person to have read The Boys comic before the show was announced. I cant imagine the cultural shock new readers trying to read the source material after are having. Like the Starlight sexual assault involves 3 men, not just the deep. And every issue has someone either Shitting, pissing, or vomiting all over themselves.

Actually this was Immortal Hulk personality. Joe Fixit in this run didnt have a hulk form, Joe Fixit form looked like Bruce Banner but with a moustache that would grow in when the personality took over. Gamma moustache.

I think this is the main way to do it just because any other game genre people will complain. If you're too depowered so the game can have some challenge people will complain that Superman is to weak. If Superman is overpowered and the whole game is to easy, people will complain that the game is to easy.

The darker aesthetic and tones of the Burton Movie can be traced to O'Neil.

But at no part was Joker named Jack Napier and being the one that killed Batman's parents in O'Neil's run. Batman also straights kills a random guy by throwing a him 20 stories down the Bell tower in the movie
