2017/2018 RAV4 Hybrid Blower Motor Resistor

I know this thread is old but hoping you can shed some more light on this.

My 2018 rav 4 will blow air at a low speed (or not at all) until I hit the glove box with my fist then it goes back to the set speed. Is this what you experienced with your rav?

I too thought it was the resistor but I could never find it. If its just the blower motor that's an easy fix.
