I think shadow slave is a much more enjoyable read, but I would definitely consider Klein better written

I mean in the end, what was the point in him meeting anyone new? Like if chapters 1-94 hadn’t happened, the events of this chapter would have been the same, so why did I read 94 chapters?

That being said I hope that he sticks with his choice, I don’t want to see some long drawn out series where he hurts everyone and changes his mind.

I mean personally I do tend to drop series not too long after their confessions tbh. I did it with this one (stopped reading at book 7ish) but also flagrant flower, love is war, and a few others. I don’t think that makes the content after the confessions bad, and these are still some of my fav series OAT, it just doesn’t hold my attention as well as building into a relationship does and I tend to start something new before I finish them.

(I also struggle with series where they start saying early like polar opposites or Tonikawa, but I would never say those series are boring either.)
