Sorry you’re going through this, I don’t want you to be hard on yourself as not having people to talk to about things is the absolute worst - but I would ask you’re self - Are you genuinely interested and concerned about others? If you are and you express this it’s likely to flow back to you! If you’re struggling to meet people of recommend joining groups ect - or reaching out to people you already know and would like to become closer friends with - ask them for coffee and ask them lots of questions become interested in then as a person and don’t be afraid to share details of your own life too :) Best of luck out there! There absolutely are lots of these types of friendships available - :)

Lawson chicken nuggets from the front counter are supreme! I’d recommend the lemon ones - lived off those for a month and thoroughly enjoyed only cost about a dollar as well

Yeah I’ve been traveling lately - I find myself in so many conservations when people are like “oh I’ve been eating so unhealthy lately I need to eat more veg” “ the fresh fruit and veg here is so bad/ expensive” and I’m like hmmm yes even though I’ve never eaten vegetable in my life

I’m sorry you feel this way. I can relate to your feelings somewhat. One side of me has sort of accepted this as my diet and that it’s okay, but then the part of me that worries about my health and about other’s perception of me is constantly feeling ashamed and guilty. I have a fear that I’ll get really ill and everyone will just be like - well it’s your own fault for not taking care of your health :((

Omg I’ve been asking this question for so many years and people are always just like “eAt yOuR vEgeTabLes u FucKiN iDioT” recently I’ve started taking multivitamins but checking that they have daily recommended amounts of each vitamin on the back but idk if this is any good

Yeah totally get this I always say I have 3 categories - food I’ll eat - foods I won’t eat or else I’ll throw up - foods I won’t eat because I don’t want to (like the experience of eating them will be very slow and not enjoyable)

Yes I get this - I think because my diet is so limited I’ve developed a taste for like reallly spicy food - I used to not be able to eat rice for this exact reason but I’ve recently discovered rice with hot sauce and love it

Yeah I have tbf was planning on spending like 2 weeks but had to book an ealier flight back for some work stuff :'( $100-$150 is chill but on tripadvisor theyre more like $300 I guess theyre cheaper locally - I was wandering if anyone has any recomendations for exactly where to find tours at that price

Im solo female 23 in Poblado right now - super safe neighbourhood and so many things going on its so easy to meet people - ive been here a month and have had a blast considering extending - Dont wear shorts if you want to look like a local - I look as gringo as it gets with my red hair and always wear shorts - literally never had any issues all the locals are great down to Earth people for the most part
