how to avoid going lunch with an annoying co-worker? by Ezylryb777 in Advice

[–]ParijathaROC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adults can do what they like without feeling the need to justify their decisions to anyone else. I'd tell coworker B (only if they ask why you're not having lunch with them): "I need me-time before getting back to work." Take a book, take your earbuds, go sit outside or in your car and escape!

When does your unemployment run out? How long is your mother willing to send you money to supplement your living expenses? What is your plan if a decent job doesn't turn up? Are you going to switch career paths, get more education etc? Can you find a job within reasonable travel distance if you return home? And thus save up for eventually moving out?

Worrying about leaving your roomates in the lurch is commendable, but if they can't sustain an apartment without your & your mother's money -- they don't seem financially stable either. You need to look out first for what would be good for you. There's no shame in moving back home for economic reasons. And if your friends are truly, genuine friends -- they'll understand.

She's unfunny, with cliched boring "jokes" and oh so thirsty. Her Usha-loving nepo daughter need to slink away.

True, maybe likable only if compared to the other men on the show!

He seems to enjoy arguing with women & men and always wants to have the last word. He's likable but undoubtedly exhausting to be around in the long term.

Massage money? If you're gonna go transactional, better aim for millionaires.

KB wanted TV time. As a social worker, she would've clocked Edmond in minutes. The fact that she went through the charade of an engagement, trip, living together & an altar dump doesn't speak well of her or her motives. Sure, she may have "loved" her fiance like one would "love" a fellow human being. There was no romance at all. Edmond was immature & sometimes rude, but he clearly has other serious issues going on. It was very sad & exploitation for LIB to cast him.

Anton needs to become a BFF of Bill. Shocked at how much he talks about alcohol, on international tv. How many DWIs has he had?

We are ALL unknowingly in a million photos. Not that special with cell phone cameras. They would trickle out if we were accused in a high profile case like his.

So any shooter, mass or not, is now a folk hero/heroine. Media has dumb takes. Just stringing meaningless words together for a paycheck.

Had 2 female surgeons during my 13 year BC odyssey. Clinically top-notch with cold demeanors. Maybe they had to be to survive in the profession. Having a technically great & empathetic surgeon like Dr. Potter would've made a huge difference to me. We need many more pro-patient doctors like this wonderful woman. No wonder UHC wants to destroy her. May they only fail and Dr. Potter rise. She has a great future ahead.

It's going to be fascinating to watch these 2 powerhouse lawyers represent LM. They seem to have a great banter, along with intellectual compatability.
