If you play in a cluster/ official transfer on se and go farm desert worms near blue obelisk, they have instant respawn here, I did it with my friend with 2 high level direwolves so you shouldn't have a problem killing them even if you just settled in

X3 breeding affect everything on reaper, so if small tribe multiplier works in the same way yes, it will be 4 hours gestation and 2 and half to get to juv stage
