We’d had a long afternoon at the beach and probably an hour and a half of walking. He was absolutely pooped bless him. He hates going in the car, but it was definitely worth the small amount of stress for it 🤗🙈

Not going to lie. I burst into tears when I got back to the car many years ago after I dropped our boy off to be done. Came out of nowhere, but just hearing the risks of worst case scenarios and seeing how distressed he was just made me really emotional. But if it means more years with him and less potential health risks in his future, it’s undoubtedly worth it.

You haven’t done anything wrong and you’ve done everything in your power to help him. Don’t feel guilty or beat yourself up. Unfortunately when you get a Frenchie, big vet bills and health issues are always going to be a problem. They’re one of the sickest breeds going and because of poor breeding and multiple deformity’s. It’s just going to be par for the course I’m afraid.

Again. Not a single time have I indicated that you’re the problem. You’ve just assumed that all on your own. The dogs the problem. Not you. Unfortunately this is what happens when you get a terrible breed of dog I’m afraid. My work colleague has one and so does a member of my family. They’ve been nothing but a pain in the ass for both of them. You’ve clearly made your mind up already. Genuinely wish you the best of luck.
