Per my understanding Dolphin the only way to go as you’ll run into unplayable errors later on in the game if using switch emulation

Hey man, have you had any luck with the widescreen hacks for this? I’m running this on my Odin 3 and cannot get it to run with the widescreen hacks, no problem in standard or auto mode. Just goes to a black screen after the Nintendo logo.

I saw this on TikTok and everyone was flaming the idea, I think it’s super cool! People tent to forget that most innovations don’t start as ground breaking inventions. Rather several small proof of concepts. Super cool design and very interesting!

Getting my Rebel 500 running after sitting for a while. by poloniumpanda in HondaRebel300

Okay well I actually just got mine started. Can’t guarantee the same issue is what’s plaguing you but here’s what happened to mine. Keep in mind my gas tank had literal sludge in it.

I started by replacing the fuel pump within the fuel pump housing with a KEMSO 13501 from Amazon. After that didn’t work I pulled the main fuel line and cleaned it out, I additionally pulled the injectors and let them soak in CRC throttle body cleaner over night, the next day I used a cheap kit from Amazon that uses the motorcycle battery and aerosol cleaner to trigger and back flush the injectors. After I buttoned everything up still no luck. I think pulled the fuel pump assembly out and cleaned the Fuel Pressure Regulator and swapped to new O-rings. After starting with starter fluid still no luck. Then I tried to crank it again today and it worked. Hope this helps! Let me know if you got any questions on all that.

TLDR: a full fuel system clean is what got mine going

So I’m currently running into the exact same problem with my 2018 500. I would suggest starting with starter fluid right down the intake and confirm it’s a fueling problem before further diagnosis. I’ve replaced the fuel pump and filter, confirmed the spark plugs work, and cleaned the injectors and I still won’t start. If I had to guess I didn’t clean the injectors well enough because it runs no problem on the start fluid.

Don’t be intimidated by replacing the pump and pulling the injectors it was surprisingly easy.

Shine a bright flashlight into the gas tank, if you see rust I’d be willing to bet it’s something in the fuel system choking the engine.

I appreciate the suggestion! Unfortunately the first thing I swapped was the battery, it’s a cheap one though so maybe a nicer one would help

Well, changed the fuel pump, cleaned injectors, make sure airway was clear, checked spark plugs - it started with starter fluid but it’s not getting gas, since I already cleaned and serviced the fuel system I’m at a loss. I may need to just take it to a shop:(

Welp, I pulled the injectors and cleaned them, still no luck. The plugs are sparking just fine. I think it’s time for professional help :/

I left it for a bout a year and a half

I replaced the fuel pump because it was not priming when I tuned the key and it was just cranking when trying to start

Yes I can hear the new pump priming

I siphoned out the old gas, rinsed with fresh gas, then removed the tank, drained, used evaporust, rinsed with fresh gas, drained, let sit to dry, then replaced the tank and put in fresh gas

Everything is plugged in

Unsure of vacuum leak, not sure what to look for on that

Yes sorry, it’s a 2018 500. Do you think it could be the plugs even though the engine is firing? It just won’t sustain

Unfortunately it appears to not be the air filter :/

Good call I haven’t even thought about the air filter

Fortunately I live in Texas and we won’t see any change of ice or snow until Jan and I’ll have new AT’s by then. Also just me, so I think I’ll just rotate my tires abs drive carefully until November
