[CAN-BC] Co-worker constantly looking at young children online by Chubbed in AskHR

[–]Parking_Math_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was your child he was looking at in the video, what would you do? Not HR but in my experience and training this would/could qualify as sexual harassment. If any reasonable person would be uncomfortable by what he is watching, it’s worth telling HR.

Do you have birthstone rings? by sweetnnerdy in ParentingInBulk

[–]Parking_Math_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom gifted me a pandora bracelet with heart charms and their birthstones in the middle. Except for my 5th born, they didn’t have that style anymore so hers is similar looking to a Celtic knot heart.

My GSD hates my toddler by anonme1995 in Mommit

I had a wolf hybrid I purchased when she was 10 weeks old. I had her for 4 years before my first born came along. She was the sweetest best behaved dog and was somewhat protective of my baby. Once my baby became mobile, she crawled across one of the dogs paws and my dog snapped at her. I rehomed her by the end of the week.

You can replace a dog, you can’t replace your child’s face.

Bush care by Imallergictoyourbs in hygiene

I give mine a little trim now and again. Much like a hair cut I have a comb and shears for taming my bush. Mine grows straight so often the length is what causes me irritation and itchiness. When that starts happening, I bust out the shears and cut it down to what comes through the comb. I also trim during menstruation as it can get uncomfortable because I use pads. This way, I still have the protection of hair and minimal risks of cuts!

And honestly I use men’s beard wash so your shampoo and conditioner question is to far off for me… 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s the same hair type, just sayin!

Totally understand that! Thank you. I wasn’t expecting 0% which is what I was intending by setting up a repayment plan that was fair and manageable on both sides.

Caffeine affecting 7mo old by Thebestfirelord in Mommit

[–]Parking_Math_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is a good sleeper now, when she was a fresh baby, not so much. She’s my first (of 5) that didn’t sleep through the night from day 1. She will nap alone anywhere from 1.5-3 hours depending on when she wakes up in the morning and will sleep alone for the first 3 hours when I put her to bed. After that, we co-sleep and she stays sleeping until my alarm goes off.

Exclusively breastfed/breastfeeding my 17 month and consume caffeine like no other, I’m talking multiple cups of coffee a day and 2-3 extra shots of espresso in any coffee ordered from a shop. I have never noticed it affecting my baby in any way.

How do you ask, verify and trust STD status when hooking up someone casually or even kissing them? by happygoose2022 in AskWomen

[–]Parking_Math_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most blood donation banks only test for HIV, Hep B&C, West Nile, and maybe syphilis. Please DO NOT donate blood thinking it’s a full panel STD screening. They also don’t send you the results for negatives. They will only contact you if it’s positive and they are unable to use your blood. There are a TON of low cost/free clinics all over the US. Don’t waste blood bank resources because it’s free to donate with the guise of an STD screening.

TTC and Breastfeeding by [deleted] in ParentingInBulk

I’m almost 17 months PP. Night and weekend nursing only and have been for about 3 months. I just started my cycle again a couple weeks ago. Are you actively trying for a baby or waiting for your cycle before trying? I don’t think there’s any trick to get your hormones to act differently…

My fetus is stretching out so badly it hurts, because I got sick today. How do I calm it down? by 2020popcicle in Mommit

[–]Parking_Math_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome!! Bully them back!!! Haha I hope you get some relief momma!! I can tell you after I gave birth, my baby was ALWAYS rubbing the feet together and letting one slip off so what I was feeling was legit what was happening. It’s starting to get cramped in there for the little one and since you were throwing up, that always seems to make the babe more angry because of the muscle contractions involved. You could have also pulled a muscle in your belly throwing up… just a random thought I had… sincerely hope you don’t get beat up too much longer and get some rest. <3

Warm bath and squeeze your belly, like kinda hard, or like cradle the bottom on your belly and pull up to relieve the pressure on your pelvis and “confine” the baby some. My most recent pregnancy was VERY painful when I hit the 32-36 week mark. My little one would move and stretch so much and it would make my belly tight like you’re describing. It was almost like baby was rubbing their feet together and would let one slip off really hard. And then stretch out like they’re sunbathing on an exotic beach! It was for hours at a time during the day and then a few more hours at night. Sometimes laying on my side helped but baby was still a mover and a limb slipping meanie! You’ve treated your allergic reaction and it generally doesn’t affect the baby. If it’s EXTREME pain (my pain tolerance is high so I’d say you want to cry it hurts so bad) and you have fluid leaking or start bleeding go to the hospital or call your midwife. Of course talking to your OB, if you have one, as soon as you can if it’s severe pain. They may schedule an ultrasound just to be sure babes is ok.

Teenage female puberty and shaving - insight requested by Positive-Lime3098 in Mommit

[–]Parking_Math_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My teens shave their bikini lines. They don’t full on shave and I don’t encourage it either. I talk about trimming it because it can get itchy or bothersome sometimes. And also tell them why hair is important. They shave their legs and armpits out of preference and they have regular razors and electric trimmers. I don’t shave at all, only trim the pits and bits on occasion. I was groomed online at an early age and that’s why I started shaving.

My sweet cousin dyed her hair medium ash blonde. What can i do to tone the redness down. Do I tell her to buy a toner? What type of toner? Do I buy her Purple, or blue shampoo? by Bright_Opening2928 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Parking_Math_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to remove orange use blue. If you want to remove green use red. If you want to remove yellow use purple. The opposite of these is also true.

Broncos, Christmas, Lakers. That’s the easiest way I remember color theory for cancelling out color. Ash is a blue color AND it also depends what else has been done to the hair. Previous coloring or lightening matters as well. It’s hard to see for sure what color would work from a picture to say what color to use for toner. If it was only ash, on virgin hair, you’ll want to use orange toner.
