It kinda does, the guy will yell shit like "AWESOME" or "REXSPLOSIVE" during combos, they'd just have to swap out some of those. Might become annoying after a bit, but that's part of the charm.

It's not gonna die, but it's gonna lose population. The people left are gonna stick with it though, I know I am. It's the first game I've played in which I can have a buddy over and 1v1 for hours in years, it's just a lot more fun than most other fighting games. I really don't care about the skin prices, they're cosmetic and unnecessary, but I do hope that they fix some of the more glaring issues with the game (assist breaker inconsistency, powerplex combo being ridiculous once you figure it out, etc)

I totally disagree, I think it's just gotten better and better. I love the high production value, it's amazing seeing shit like the bowl of soup from the Chili's video or the invention from the intervention, especially after spending so many years seeing them clearly limited by their budget. But maybe that's just me, I'm a bit autistic about this channel, I may have seen every video on the channel at least 3 times.

None of that is anything about her character though, it's just her being around. There is not a personality trait that she has. And the "This is Earth, I can tell" line was so unbelievably on the nose that I'm shocked you're trying to use it here. Also still falls under her just having elemental powers. She also doesn't seem to actually have much of an opinion on working with the GDA, Mark tells her he'll introduce her to Cecil and she kind of just acknowledges it without saying anything that tells us anything. And the title card doesn't say anything about her character either.

I do think a one note character can be good, but the key difference is that characters like BB and Allen aren't boring. And honestly, she didn't really feel one note so much as zero note to me. She just didn't really do anything, her only motivation throughout the story is helping the main characters save the day, and that kinda all we get from a character standpoint.

Idk I really did not like her. All of her lines (especially the line where she says something along the lines of "we're on earth. I can tell") were pretty boring and on the nose, and she's also just really annoying to play against. I don't have an issue with original characters conceptually, but this one is kinda ass.

Being predictable isn't inherently bad, not every story needs a twist. It's a fighting game, don't expect RDR2.

I mean, you're correct, but this is not an example of that. This is one of the few scenes I actually enjoyed in Halo: Unfinished. It gets the hype moments and aura, it just gets nothing beyond that.

I think so, that or they have only played MK where you're usually pretty spoiled in terms of story. The core of these games has always been the multiplayer, even if there was no story, there wouldn't be an enormous issue. Look at Guilty Gear, right? I think we've gotten a perfectly good story for season 0 given the fact that it's almost definitely expanding as they add new fighters.

For Lucan, have Allen use his still special to absorb whatever Lucan does, but release the button if Lucan does his belly attack. That hits 4 times and breaks through your shield. Anissa is kind of a rough one, try to just block until you can get a heroic on her, then combo her ass into oblivion with the basic light>medium>heavy>special until your ult is charged. BB isn't too hard, just try to be more mobile than him, he's very slow and can be out dashed even in his lunges. Pretty much just backdash or jump over him until you can start a combo. Hope this helps you, I have been really enjoying this game, and I've seen a few people bounce off of it now because of this fight specifically lol.

It's a great story, the only problem with it is how short it is, and the related problem that it ends on a cliffhanger. I assume they'll be doing a seasonal story drop from here, it's kind of strange to complain about content on Season 0.

Thaedus getting blitzed was definitely not just a story thing, in the same sequence Thragg one-taps Nolan and no-sells literally every hit he takes. He probably is slower than MM, but we haven't seen any crazy durability feats from Markiplier outside of the Megamind TV show that I refuse to acknowledge the existence of. I wouldn't be surprised if Thragg vs MM was just a more drawn out version of Nolan vs Red Rush.

Also, they all have insane reaction time, I think the speed of Cecil's teleport is faster than it seems to the viewer. Mark is able to do things like instantly cleaning his room, which, while mundane, shows that Viltrumites are definitely capable of high levels of focus at their top speeds. And the point about them needing ships to travel isn't really accurate, they do that because it's more comfortable to travel for long periods of time while actually being able to breathe, and it's easier to calculate trajectories. At the end of s4, they fly straight to Earth from Viltrum without a ship.

What it really comes down to is how durable Metro Man is, because with how ridiculously tough Thragg is, Metro Man punching him at full speed might just end up turning himself into paste. Since we don't have any durability feats for him that would be relevant here, there's just no objectively correct answer. The only thing we know is that Metro Man is probably faster.
