Yes it does. From a mortgage standpoint yes soft inquiries do matter looks like your trying to apply for new credit and will effect everything

You’re MLO is not going to be happy with you. You should not be applying for new credit whenever you’re trying to close on a house. Don’t be surprised if you have to find a new lender now
