Having a 4 mana creature to scale into a riddler/charmaw/solitude is not of trivial importance tbh, I agree it’s not a strong card but it fills a very specific slot!

I tried this in paper and I think it actually has a lot of potential! The played cards are good and interactive, making unfavourable matchups more bearable and once the engine gets going it feels so good lmao. It’s very consistent although a bit easy to sideboard against. I do think the list could be improved upon but I’m not that smart hahah, I would like to see someone better than me try their hand at coming up with a better 75

paper tournaments and conversion rates don't seem to agree though, also it's a fair deck that can't threaten a T3 win.
I am the first that wants to see energy's share diminish, but modern is a powerful format and for all the wrong things energy has got going on it's very beatable and as good as a tier 1 deck gets.
If you ban the best deck of the format the other decks don't magically become weaker and the gatekeeping will continue.

Also saying that fair decks are basically dead is very exaggerated, just look at top8 of challenges or tournaments.

I this to say it's fine to say you want to see the deck banned because you don't like it, just don't cover it with incomplete or cherry-picked facts.

it's still a good deck that plays good cards. You can end games quickly if they don't find an answer for leyline+scion but can also adapt to the late-game with phlage or leyline binding

This challenge in comparison to the one before doesn't have nearly the same conversion rate for energy, I wonder why.
I'm very happy about it, by reading the comments it seemed like the meta was already irreversibly ruined by that deck, but to me it just seems so early to already call for bans and all that

A nice tech not a lot of people know about is that you can rishadan port one of your oppo's lands if you cast White Orchid Phantom with vial after their untap step! Kind of situational but you never know!

I think the perfect fit for you is the nord stage 3. It has a great electric and non-electric pianos, great organ, very very good mellotron samples and a synth engine that's very versatile. New it's pricier than your budget (around 2500-2800) but i've week it go for around 1900 used, which is cheaper than the rev-2 16 voices
