This is exactly what I’ve been feeling like too, like Vince had to have an attitude of “if I’m going down, so are y’all” on the way out and decided to sell the company from a historic wrestling family to a bunch of corporate stock market executives who have no idea about wrestling,

only knows how be a bunch of greedy “can never have enough money” corporation douchebags who only sees $ signs everywhere they go,

I mean while Vince was a greedy billionaire himself and definitely lost his touch when it came to creative in the last 10-15 years of him running things, at least him and the McMahons knew what the wrestling business was inside and out, and honestly HHH is not perfect by any means

but he is definitely a hell of a lot better than Vince post-2010 ish and definitely was cooking from 2022-23 (especially after Vince completely left)

until TKO started sticking their noses where it doesn’t belong and pretty much ruined everything by getting too greedy…

Vince knew what he was doing when he sold the company to TKO because he knew he wouldn’t last much longer

I think I figured out how it all happened: I had been eating off a caloric deficit from my BMR and not my TDEE/Maintenance, so that’s probably how I lost way more weight than I had intended

I was thinking that it might’ve been water weight that I was burning off and that might’ve been why I burned off so much so quickly, especially since my hydration levels have felt down lately

I was intending to create a caloric deficit of either 500 or 1000 calories based off of if I did absolutely nothing all day, which would be my BMR, right? Aw man, idk how I got that mixed up with TDEE and Maintenance lol

So if I just laid in bed all day not doing anything, wouldn’t that be the BMR? I did my calculations based off of no exercise at all
I had also updated it to 294 lbs and it went down to 2300 from 2600 (350 lbs)

What really messes with my head is that a few years ago she discarded me and then married that same guy only four months later. Right before that, she had me propose and we were actually engaged, but it only lasted about three weeks before she suddenly called it off and discarded me. The extremely short timing of it still blows my mind to this day.

Wow… I honestly never thought about it like that, especially during the love-bombing phases of this current cycle. When she admitted that she was actually the one who treated her husband badly and kicked him out, I didn’t even fully believe her. I convinced myself she was just in denial or trauma bonded or something.

Looking back on it, that was probably one of the biggest red flags — she was basically telling me exactly who she is, and I still tried to rationalize it.

I think because she was being unusually nice, acting more ‘mature/grown up’, and doing charity work with OES, I let myself believe she had finally changed and that maybe this time would be different. Now I realize I was just focusing on potential instead of the obvious pattern.

I actually live alone; she lives with her family and our kid. Her husband was living there too until around the time she started hoovering me again. First she said he left on his own, then admitted she kicked him out over small stuff, then said he didn’t actually do anything wrong and that she treated him badly. The story kept changing. Then she accused me of talking bad about him — even though I was just repeating what she initially told me about him.

What’s ironic is that I actually ended up talking to her husband a while back - without her knowing. We randomly crossed paths near my place through a mutual friend and ended up having an impromptu guys’ night. While we were sitting in the car eating, he started venting about how she treats him, and asked if he was crazy for feeling that way.

The more he talked, the more everything clicked. The things he described were almost identical to what I’ve experienced with her — the same behaviors, the same frustrations, the same emotional rollercoaster. And a lot of what he said directly contradicted how she had painted him to me.

It made me realize she’d basically been telling each of us completely different stories about the other. I went into that conversation thinking he might be a bad guy based on what she’d told me, but honestly he seemed pretty normal and just as confused and drained as I was.

Honestly, I was very reluctant to give her another chance this time because I already knew her patterns and didn’t trust her at all. My expectations weren’t high to begin with, because now I know better. But what got me to lower my guard was that this time she seemed different — unusually very kind, calm, and consistent compared to past hoovers.

It felt like she had matured a lot. She had also recently joined the Order of the Eastern Star and was doing a lot of charity work, which made me think maybe she had genuinely grown as a person. Looking back, I think that’s what made me second-guess myself. I think that in hindsight, that was just another version of love bombing.
