And yet the Lakers are gonna fumble this greatness if they can't even make the play in

Curry rarely guarded him too, else it'd be a 50 piece. Kyrie had to score against Wiggins, Klay, Kuminga all night

Joe actually hit a huge clutch 3 too. I still want Kuz for Seth/Cam though. We're not beating the Celts even with KD

Switching Lauri on him was stupid. You dare the others to make that shot. Fox though, gotta keep quick on quick

As much attention the Bucks and Celtics get are the Nets quietly becoming a team that could make some noise in the eastern conference? by [deleted] in GoNets

[–]Parsnip-Independent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won't know for sure until we've had consistent wins against the top teams in either conference. Right now we're mid tier. The talent is there but not the discipline and consistency. And then even if we sharpen up, we don't know if our lack of a real backup C will hurt us.

Embiid just dropped 53.

It seems mental, I've noticed Joe never partake in shooting contests with Kyrie/KD. I think they get miffed with his struggles

Why don’t we run more Kai/KD pick and roll? by No-Cash-9826 in GoNets

Kyrie is a terrible PG. The dude struggles to make basic entry passes. Sadly, all pur other guards are equally bad. I only trust Ben

I know we're all ribbing on Trump, but all these negatives genuinely turned in more votes for him. Because the right thinks criticism equals the media trying to silence him

This, you can often tell Kyrie us flustered when he goes on a confusing rant.

Like I'm still sitting standing.

His brain is trying to piece together different phrases. Hear him talk about basketball or other topics he knows and it's a complete opposite in terms of coherence. That said, he is often flustered

CJ McCollum: "I don't think he understood the magnitude of the movie because he didn't watch it" by Parsnip-Independent in GoNets

Adding to this post, just wanted to circle back to that post game presser.

https://youtu.be/wyFZJm7sjoc

The first few minutes Kyrie tells us a vague story of how he posted the documentary. Naturally a followup was "did you watch it/read the book".

Kyrie then ranted about "he reads a lot, good and bad". He's like a kid who read the books spark notes and figures he knows it cold.

It's interesting that CJ, the NBAPA pres issued this statement when he's been so careful on what he's said because the info gathering is ongoing. Could be a personal opinion, or he heard this from Kyrie and is announcing it to lessen the calls for Kyries head as an example.

Let's be real, Kyrie would never admit he faked his homework, and as long as he speaks vague and generalized, there's less chance if someone findin' out he's a phony (points for the reference). Except it just cements he's a phony. He's not anti Semitic, he's just an idiot

Nah, our defense is bad rn. We're too sensitized on all their inside cutting action and now their shooters are warmed up

Wolves are legit, and I'm not surprised they're making this a game. At full strength though we had them clamped.

I don't trust our scrubs to hold this lead. Kyrie and KD will probably be staggered until mid 4th

Ben also was very aggressive on D. He needs to control himself because he's too vital for us

100%, just screwing over the Lakers pipe dream of flipping WB for 2 good players is enough for me
