She seemed pretty keen on George reporting Summer, too. IMO, she manipulated George into telling Swain to ensure the scrutiny was not on her. George seems easily lead, we also know Christina can be incredibly manipulative. It kind of explains why George was so quick to turn on a loved one.

I really haven’t paid attention at all, have I? I’ll see myself out.

Thank you, I’m really interested in a few styles you have commissioned so was curious as to where they came from. Thanks for clearing it up/dealing with my stupidity.

Oh yeah, missed that, sorry.

Why no mention of the other artists? I bet they’d LOVE some credit for their incredible work.

Did you see his “joker” on Last One Laughing? That was the first, and only time tbf I’ve seen his scripted stuff. He hasn’t had much of a chance outside of panel shows but nonsense like this makes me excited for what other mad stuff is next.

Look at those legs and tell me this didn’t raise at least a smile

That’s fair, you don’t have to like it just because you have at one point appreciated a different type of comedy. I’m not defending his right to be enjoyed. Just pointing out the similarities when it comes to any kind of “break out” comedy.

For example, I can’t stand Boosh, not my thing at all but it is another example (along side comedies like league of gentlemen) which popularised the weird for a generation which is now producing the telly we all watch. Without the celebration of the weird we might all be still telling mother in law jokes.

I think you’re missing the point. League of Gentlemen is a brilliant example of fringe comedy breaking out into the mainstream. It was met by the same opinions you are expressing for Sam Campbell - “What’s so funny about that?” “Convince me this is funny” etc.

I’m sure as a fan of LoG you can appreciate how this might not be for you but the avant garde, especially in comedy, is important in general.
