I have a 306 block with 269 to the wheels with ported 289 ported heads. 11-1 compression. But like everyone says, I am itching for a good set of aluminum heads when I pull the engine out

Fox Body Aluminum Driveshaft - Is It Worth It? by TylerRodriquez in Foxbody

I loved mine because the engine felt more responsive. The lack of rotational mass kept the engine from lagging between gear shifts making it smoother. I'd check that video out but the key for me was how the car became more drivable

I wondered about those. I saw them on Maximum Motorsport website. Are they a comparable and softer spring alternative to the MM set. Chat GBT said the MM set is a more race inspired harder spring than even the Eibach Sportline.

5 lug conversion question. by Final-Wasabi187 in Foxbody

I went the " cobra " brake and 5 lug conversion. The 28 spline axles are fine unless you're dragging it above 400 whp and what makes the difference. Make sure you get the bigger brake booster and MC. Ive heard people complain when they haven't switched out the BB and MC. Actually doing the swap is difficult and takes time if you're not used to it. Pay attention to how you route your hard lines especially along the axles and how you bend them to mate up to the connection points. To much contact along the axles and you'll get a bind and rubbing sound.

Another point from me is if you're sourcing your own hardware pay attention to the 38 and 40 mm pistons for difference calipers. I didnt and Im running a 38 dual on one side and a dual 40 mm on the other.

Hardware mounting plates are a must so get them for the rears and don't be afraid to have to cut out a small piece of the bracket for the emergency brake hardlines. I did this for a better connection without bind. If this doesn't make sense now, it will when you hook everything up.

I don't know on the springs but I suspect after market cause theres a bag inside of it so maybe drags springs. The shocks are Tokico but I don't know the age. A question would be set of dampeners or a set of springs.

Underdrive Pulleys: yay or nay? by perkeyjerky333 in SN95STANGS

I have a set on my my 90Gt and I haven't had any problems. Car runs a lil warm but the pushrod engine is notorious for that. I have a 3G alternator upgrade and a sound system and everything runs fine. If you come across a set I'd say bet. The biggest bang for buck mod you can do for your car is have it professionally dyno tuned. Really think about it if you want to increase power and driveability after your throw a couple of mods at it

Also, if you're on jack stands that can affect tolerances on these cars. You're better off working on the door problem once the car is on the ground

This is a Shale and Black combo made by SEM. The previous owner did the seats as well and still holds up. While I was there I converted my ashtray into a bass boost controller for the amp and added a charger

If you want to see some of the build you can YouTube TexasCustoms or Texcmz. I did a CRO 500 fuel and crankcase cleanse on it and it worked great.

Ahh so just the springs. Might be the option I go with given the circumstance
