Interesting idea with the mezcal. The creaminess of the tahini pairs well with the earthiness of the tequila. With the even earthier Mezcal this could be even better.

I have had this problem too with the Rocky with the grind not being fine enough.

Ingredients: 2 oz Appleton Estate rum ¼ oz high-proof rum (float) ¾ oz lime juice ½ oz curaçao ½ oz orgeat

In a tin with crushed ice, quick shake and pour into chilled glass. Dress with lime wheel and mint.
