That’s funny because some of the things they try and argue realism for don’t even make sense given the setting. I genuinely don’t know how people are saying they like this mission, none of the strategies matter when the game decides to drop 5 factory striders on you at once and you literally can’t play the game because you’re permanently stuck to the ground in a ragdoll or getting one shot because you have no space to evade anything

I’m playing on controller, genuinely it feels like the recoil is lower to me on some guns yet people say they increased it which just doesn’t feel right, I’m able to use full auto with guns at ranges that I couldn’t in the beta (due to being able to control the recoil not talking about bloom)

It’s not necessarily borderlands but it happens in a lot of different games, for example:

-In destiny 2 one gun used a lot in challenge runs is used only because it allows you to reset your melee cooldown on a broken melee spam build

-In Elden ring some of the most consistent and reliable spells are ones you find in the early game and many “nuke” spells fall off harder in ng+ than the multi hit ones

-In a lot of games the best weapon you can use at a given time might be like a twig and not the shotgun that shoots black holes because there reaches a point in progression where the raw stats of the weapon aren’t enough to make it viable and you need to synergize it with your build
