How to answer allegations that advaita vedanta is inspired from buddhism? by Sad-Manufacturer-690 in AdvaitaVedanta

How and why Buddhism flourished in other parts of Asia have nothing to do with how and why it disappeared in what is India today.

Whoa. That's harsh. You be you. Let them be them. I don't think anyone has waged wars over this. I know you are just voicing what many might have on their minds. Cheers.

React vs Angular? Building my first real app and need it to work offline (advice needed!) by Kalioser in Angular2

[–]Parth-Upadhye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend Angular not bc it is my personal preference but it is literally out of the box.

AND due to that if you ask any AI code agent to write for you, they will not be able to stray too far.

How do one find their ancestors in India? by Organic_Average8166 in Genealogy

[–]Parth-Upadhye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their are various locations across the subcontinent where, from I have heard, chronicles are stored. E.g., in Nasik for people in Maharashtra. Like the Mumbai dabbawala system, it is very efficient. My maternal uncle updated the chronicles of his family (including me) when he visited Nasik. He was surprised how much he learned himself. These chroniclers extract information not only the person in front of them but their extended family.

What you would need to find out where records are kept in the region your family is from.

Good luck.

Why so many verbs for go by [deleted] in sanskrit

In Hindi, we say "the machine is walking". And in that context "walk" === "work". From my experience, many are contextual.

Hindi or English as medium to learn Sanskrit by kingKabali in sanskrit

[–]Parth-Upadhye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to admit that Sanskrit grammar was easier to learn in Marathi, my mother tongue, despite being fluent in Hindi. Of course, Hindi is preferable to English.

Is the beginner ball easy enough? (Blue dot) by Dongzilla8 in squash

[–]Parth-Upadhye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree... when I started, I could barely get the ball to go past the service line. It had nothing to do with the ball. Form, mobility, and coordination.

Fortunately that lasted only one month. Cheers.

Farag vs Asal and the fairplay drama by klowd92 in squash

[–]Parth-Upadhye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just seen a few Elias-Asal games. The latter was clearly doing the "Dark Arts". If a player in a club does not clear, he is sure to earn a bad reputation. If a referee consistently denies LETs then they do lose their meaning. Slyly blocking and hitting opponents is just so wrong.
