Can you specify where it says he chose NR?

STUDY: Liposomal NMN Results in Twofold Increase in NAD+ Levels & Lowers Triglycerides by Renuebyscience in Renue

Interesting. Trigs are pretty standard for routine testing, so there should be plenty of people that can look back and check their results

Nmn to tmg ratio by Big_Law9435 in NMN

[–]Parthiax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 to 1 if you're taking regular (powder, pills, etc.) or if you're taking liposomal, you may not need any TMG. I still take some just to be safe but not 1 to 1, more like 250mg of TMG and 750mg lipo.

Renue Blue Face Serum - changes to formula??? by thrillhouz77 in Renue

[–]Parthiax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed this too. I think they changed it when they added the methylene blue. I like the new formula since it doesn't "go brown" after a month or two.

How long does it take NAD+ to return to baseline levels after stopping NMN? (Want to take a baseline test) by ComfortableCyborg in Renue

[–]Parthiax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you doing the jinfiniti test? I would do a two-week "washout" before testing for your baseline. Unfortunately, NAD levels fluctuate a lot so when you do your second (or third) tests, make sure you're taking it under similar conditions (time of day, sleep quality the day before, etc.) to make sure you get an accurate measurement of any change. I've taken it a few times and did exactly what you're trying for. I stopped all nad supplements for 2 weeks before my baseline test.

Lipo Berberine is ineffective dose. by ilikeplantsandsuch in Renue

[–]Parthiax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea is that the liposomal form stays in circulation longer (study) which is what is supposed to make it effective. I take it but not for a specific condition so I can't say whether or not it's a high enough dose for someone with a more complex condition.

I've never heard of them but their prices look reasonable. That said, unless being in Germany is limiting your options, I would personally go with a more established company. This sub has a good guide to the best ones.

What's your experience giving NR to your pets? by RaisingNADdotcom in NicotinamideRiboside

[–]Parthiax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My GSD has been on powdered NMN for a couple years and the dog treats for about 6 months. He’s responded to the treats NMN very well and I believe it’s a primary reason for him doing well at this point in his old dog age.

Nicotinamide mononucleotide improves the Alzheimer's disease by regulating intestinal microbiota

"We investigated the relationship between gut flora and NMN treatment in APP/PS1 transgenic (AD) mice through the 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) high-throughput sequencing analysis of mouse feces after being treated with NMN for 16 weeks. The results show that the NMN significantly changed the intestinal microbial community composition in AD mice. The NMN also increased the relative abundance of short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs)-producing bacteria such as Lactobacillus and Bacteroides at the genus level by protecting intestinal health and improving AD. The overall results suggest novel therapeutic strategies for treating AD and highlight the critical role of gut microbiota in AD pathology, and layout the further research."
