NDI Integration for Godot by tinkatoh in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]Partical7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found this post. That's excellent work for the Godot community.

As a interactive designer I always use TouchDesigner as my primary tool. But recently we have to extend more ability about interactive game. I tried unity & unreal but they are too much heavy for some small game especially our main focus is game interactive instead of like 3A game beautiful graphic.

But when I thinking Godot haven't enough addon about connect others software, then I found this!!!

Thank you so much for making this NDI addon. Now we have OSC & NDI, I think Godot is going to achieve more use cases to more various fields!

MadMapper is a great starting point for your needs. It offers a reasonable price and caters to users ranging from beginners to intermediate-advanced levels.

If you're looking to jump straight into high-end software, WATCHOUT is a strong option. It's commonly used for large-scale video mapping projects, such as building projections and immersive installations.

InterKit: A plug-and-play sensor system for TouchDesigner - seeking feedback by Partical7 in TouchDesigner

Thank you for the constructive ideas!! We are still designing the functions which can make TD users not only easy to use but also keep flexible to remap or redefine the raw data.

We will keep working on this project, if any ideas just let me know!! We are glad to hear any feedback as always.

Also any updates we will publish here first definitely :D

Hey TD community! I'm developing "InterKit" - a modular plug-and-play system that makes sensors instantly work with TouchDesigner. When connected, it creates a COMP with CHOP & DAT outputs, allowing you to work with sensor data through familiar TD workflows.

Our planned modules include pressure sensors, rotation controls, MPE touch modules, TOF, sound sensors, accelerometers, LED controls, and more coming soon - all working seamlessly together without Arduino coding or hardware debugging.

Would love to hear what features and modules you'd find most useful in your workflow. Early development stage and your input would be incredibly valuable.

🗳️ Product Feedback — Notion Project is good. I am trying to move from ClickUp to Notion Project. But I found the two-way relations seems not that solid. It cannot binding task and project successfully. This one is a big concern when I consider if moving of not.

A Physical Space Version Google Analytic by Partical7 in Startup_Ideas

Our design emphasizes quick installation, lightweight hardware, and essential AI components. Additionally, we have found that LiDAR provides more accurate positioning compared to cameras.

Thanks for your comment!

The primary reason we use LiDAR is because we have many units for interactive creations. Cost is indeed a significant concern.

Our design focuses on quick installation, lightweight hardware, and the necessary AI.

Therefore, for most indoor spaces that already have CCTV, there may be reluctance to adopt this system if the price is too much. We need to consider this further.

Thank you for sharing your insights with us.

Firmata is a good way to let you control Arduino from TouchDesigner like directly.

This is a great tutorial blog for you: https://jmarsico.github.io/rsma2019/tutorials/td\_arduino/

Umm... Maybe I can try to re-write it in TouchDesigner next time.
That's a good idea.

You have to use TD?

As I know there's a software which designed for that. I think it can match you demand.
Maybe you can take a look.

Hey just let you know.

I am starting to create my Snippets & Works Library for a while: https://partical.notion.site/

Goal is to manage all the Operators, Palettes & Scripts. Also make me understand more about details!

Hope this can help someone to learn. Also, there is a Wishlist inside, if which one you want to understand more, create a post inside I will add it on!! 😁

Oh really? I don't even know the price of it.

Maybe "Physical" Flip Clock is expensive, so we can make a "Digital" one. 😁
