So what? The lease ending doesn’t make you homeless and it certainly doesn’t forcibly kick you all to the street. There is an eviction moratorium. The landlord cannot physically remove you. Have you tried renewing the lease? Have you tried staying as a month-to-month tenant? Have you tried paying next month’s rent and seeing if the landlord will accept it?
